To showcase the beautiful accents from the embossing powder, I started by creating the card base. To create the shaker card base, I used the Essentials: Ornate Banner Die Set which I ran through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine to die-cut the frame 1X out of white cardstock and 1X out of fun foam. Once I had that done, I ran once again through the die-cutting machine the largest die to die-cut it out of acetate. Right after, I assembled the pieces together to create the shaker window and I adhered it to an A2 top folding white card base. Next, I ran though the die-cutting machine the Partial Cut Bouquet and a Bow Die Set to die-cut the flowers out of translucent vellum. Because this is a partial cut, I used my scissors to fussy cut them to separate them out of the vellum. Then, I adhered the translucent flowers on top of the shaker window (as shown above) and I set the card base aside.

In the meantime, I used the WOW! Embossing Ink Pad to create a large sticky surface on a piece of white cardstock so, I could add Aztec Glintz Embossing Powder and Monstserrat Embossing Glitter from the Carribean Charm Embossing Glitter Trio. So, after I was done creating the surface, I added the powders and I heat set them with my WOW! Heat Embossing Gun Tool. Lastly, after my heat embossing was done, I carefully placed over the Aztec Glintz heat embossed part the die from the set to, die-cut the flowers.

Once, I had the die-cutting flowers I used once again the scissor to fussy cut them and I adhered them over the translucent flowers that were already on the card base. To finish the card off, I adhered over a piece of the Montserrat Embossing Glitter heat embossing a gold heat embossed Thank you sentiment that I had previously gold heat embossed on a piece of white cardstock with Metallic Gold Rich Embossing Powder which I adhered to the card right afterwards along with a piece of Metallic Light Gold Thread. By the way the sentiments used on this card is from the Full Bloom Stamp Set in case you wonder.

For the second card first, I ran through the die-cutting machine the largest die from the Essentials: Diagonal Stitched Rectangles Die Set along with a white card panel to create the diagonal details on it. Once the I’d that done, I mounted the card panel over an A2 top folding white card base. Then, I ran through the die-cutting machine a panel slightly smaller than the detailed white card panel to create the partial die-cutting for the flowers. As, you can see in the image above, instead of fussy cut them out of the vellum, I left them as is. Lastly, I adhered a bow that I created from the Montserrat heat embossing using; the die included in the set as, well as the flowers which I die-cut and glued them in the same way as I did on the previous example. To finish the card off, I adhered the translucent vellum panel to the card base and today’s card were completed.
