Pinkfresh Studio August 2023 Holiday Release ▏ Blog Hop

Happy Release Day, Crafters! Pinkfresh Studio is celebrating its Holiday 2023 release with a fabulous blog hop. So, that said, today I’d like to share a modern and dimensional inspiration card with a “Non-Traditional & Festive” look showcasing: the just-released Fa La La La Hot Foil & Die, Large Snowflakes Die, and Snowflakes Coverplate Die. Along with these sets, I also used one of the card sentiments from the Large Holiday Sentiments Stamp, and last but not least, I used Ombre Glitter Drops: Sparkle & Shine to add the card a little extra touch of shine! So, without further ado, let me share how I made it. ↓

Therefore, as the first step, I used the Fa La La La Hot Foil & Die alongside the Glimmer Hot Foil System, a piece of Glimmer Hot Foil Roll - Aura, a white cardstock piece, and the Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine to do the hot foil stamping step over the cardstock.

Moving on, as soon as I had finished getting the hot foil stamping done, I used the coordinating die to die-cut the hot foil stamped images, and then I added dimension by stacking underneath it more plain die-cutting images. Next, I placed the dimensional sentiment aside to continue the die-cutting steps for the snowflakes and snowflakes background.

As for the snowflakes, I used Gold and White cardstock pieces along with the dies included in the Large Snowflakes Die to die-cut the 3-size snowflakes. Thus, after I finished the die-cutting step, I glued the white snowflakes over the gold ones a little offset to the right to add a slightly gold shadow to them. As for the snowflakes background, I used peach-colored cardstock with the Snowflakes Coverplate Die to complete the card die-cutting background step.

Next, to complete the card, I proceeded to glue down the backside of the snowflakes background to the front flap of an A2-size top folding white card base, and then, I got glued down the stacked die-cutting snowflakes over the snowflakes background. Lastly, I added square foam adhesives to the backside of the sentiment, and then I mounted it to the center-right side of the card. Then, to finish the card off, I glued here and there some of the Ombre Glitter Drops: Sparkle & Shine to add even more shine.
