THANK YOU CARD
Hello, on today's blog I am creating a Thank You card. Using the Blending and Heat Embossing techniques.
let's get started
For my stamping, I am featuring once again the Mandy's Flowers stamp set by Simon Says Stamp. Also, I'm using the cling rubber stamp Modern Rose Blooms Background included in this kit for the card panel.
First, I started with the blending technique. Using, Spun Sugar and Dusty Concord Distress Oxides Inks by Ranger. I blended both colors in circular motion on top of a Bristol Smooth Surface panel. Until, I didn't see any harsh lines between both colors.
Stamping and coloring
Second, While the blending was drying out. I stamped the Floral and the sentiment for the card, using Versafine Onyx Black for my sentiment and Extreme Black copic friendly ink on a piece of Neenah Solar White #80 Classic Crest cardstock.
After, the stamping. I waited a few minutes before, the coloring. For my coloring I used the following Copic Colors
Greens YG03, YG17, YG25
Yellows Y00, Y02, Y06
Violet V04
Heat Embossing
Third, I came back to my background panel. And before the stamping I used the Anti-Static pouch by Rangers. So, I could have a better impression with the background stamping.
For this card I used
WOW embossing glitter in Diamond White
WOW Clear Ultra Slow Drying Pad
Layout
Fourth, I started laying out every piece adhering the backed of the flower with a piece of fun foam. Then, adhering them to the embossed background panel. Also, I adhered the sentiment that I had it previously stamped in a piece of white cardstock on top on a piece of black cardstock.
Last, but certainly not least. I adhered the panel to the card base. This time a used the pre-scored card bases, that were included in this kit.
Your imagination is Your limit.
I hope you get Inspired and give these designs a try! Just keep in mind, that you can create the same designs with any combination of patterned and color papers.
Thank You, your time is valuable. Don't forget to spread kindness, Today and Always.
Best,
Yasmin
