Hello, Friends! It’s Simon Says Stamp - Let’s Connect release day YAY!!! Therefore, on today’s blog I’ll be sharing with this set of 6 “Birthday” cards made using the just released; Suzy’s Watercolor Prints. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step by step ↓
These prints contain 6 fun birthday sentiments and hand drawn images by Suzy Plantamura and even better they are printed on Tim Holtz watercolor paper.
However, even though I said they’re 6 designs the set also contain 2 of each design which makes 12 prints in total.
So, with that being said I kept half of the set in my stash while, I went ahead to get the other half water-colored with a mix of a pastel watercolor hues that I had previously mixed using my Watercolor : Full Collection set with a touch of Winsor & Newton Designers Gouache and Metallic Watercolor Paints.
So therefore, there’s not much explanation on how I water-colored each of them as I didn’t do anything extraordinary however, I did added touches of gold to all of them with the metallic paints and patterns to the card in the image above and to the last card below using my white gel pen.
If, you see closely each of today’s examples, you’ll notice that I also trimmed the edges off from each of the prints in different sizes.
Although, is hard to see through the images I’d like to mention that I added glossy accents to add shine besides the metallic touch, and that all prints were mounted to top folding white card bases with craft foam mounting tape to add a bit of dimension.
With that being said friends, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the step by step on how I’ve made this set of 6 “Birthday” cards made using the just released; Suzy’s Watercolor Prints..
