Happy Monday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you a delicate set of inspiration cards made with a “Tiered Tray” look showcasing the latest; Tiered tray Collection by Becky Rogers for Spellbinders. Which includes: Tiered Tray Dies, Tiered Tray Décor Etched Dies and, Tiered Tray Sentiments Clear Stamp Set. So, without further ado let’s jump right in to the step-by-step for how I made them ↓
Therefore, for the first example, I started off by cutting the tiered tray base using the dies included in Tiered Tray Dies. Thus, to do that, I went ahead to line up over a large piece of white cardstock the large and small tray dies. Then, I went ahead to run them thru the Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine and once, I had those cut our from the white cardstock, I put them off aside to continuing the die-cutting step for the small and large posts along with the tray bases. So, to cut them out, I went ahead to use a large piece of Mirror Gold Cardstock to add metallic accents to it.
Next, after getting the die-cutting step for the tiered tray, I went ahead to use the dies included in Tiered Tray Décor Etched Dies to cut out the decorative tray pieces. So, to do that, I used a combination of Kraft, White, Pink, Mirrored Gold and, Green cardstock to add the greenery. Having that said, as soon as, I had gotten finished cutting all pieces out from the cardstock pieces, I proceeded to get them assembled and then, I moved on to get the cards assembling started.
Then, for the card assembling, I proceeded to use an A2 top folding white card base. Next, I used a small piece of Kraft cardstock along with a strip of the same cardstock to create the bottom part of the card background and then, I also used a white textured card panel to complete the card background. As, for the textured card panel, I used Scallops Embossing Folder to add the dry embossing look. Having that said, after getting the card panel adhered to the card base, I proceeded to decorate the tiered tray using the die-cutting plant, planter, house, cutting board, hello, gnome, pumpkin, cups and the greenery. Lastly, after getting the tiered tray embellished, I went ahead to get it mounted over the card and then, I proceeded to finish it off by gluing down here and there some Gold and Pink jewels plus, a piece of DMC Diamant Metallic Gold Thread to add an extra touch of metallic accent to the cutting board and sparkle to the card.
Moving on, for the second example, I went ahead to cut out the tiered tray from Kraft cardstock and then, I proceeded to get it assembled in the same way as I did for the previous example.
Next, I went ahead to get it embellished using decorative pieces but this time with a simpler look. Therefore, I added the letter board on which, I had gotten stamped the thank you sentiment on it. Then, I added pitcher, and I created a floral cluster inside of it using the branch, leaves and some flowers. By the way for the floral part on this example, I used the dies included in Mini Blooms and Sprigs Etched Dies and, I used as well the Scallops Embossing Folder from the previous example to create the texture for the pitcher and cups. Also, I used one of the sentiments included in Tiered Tray Sentiments Clear Stamp Set to add the Thank you to the letter board.
That being said, after getting the embellishment step for the tiered tray, I went ahead to put it off aside to get the card base and card background prepare for the card assembling. So, to do that, I used an A2 size top folding white card base and then, I added texture to an A2 size white card panel using Tufted 3D Embossing Folder. Once, I had gotten the textured added to the card panel, I proceeded to trim off 1/4 of an inch from each side and then, I got its backing adhered to the card base. Lastly, I got the tiered tray mounted over the card background and then, I finish the card off by gluing down here and there some gold jewels to add an extra touch of shine to the card.
And, with that being said friends, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this delicate set of inspiration cards with a “Tiered Tray” look showcasing the latest; Tiered tray Collection by Becky Rogers for Spellbinders.
