Hello and Welcome! Today, I’m joining Spellbinders for their September 2021 Clubs Kit Inspiration Blog Hop! Therefore, throughout the hop, you’ll find amazing and inspiring projects created by many talented designers showcasing this month’s Club Kits. Thus, to get you inspired, I will be sharing an extra dimensional and textured “Just a Note” floral card showcasing this month’s Large Die of the Month. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it ↓
To begin with, I started off by lining up each floral die including in this month’s Large Die of the Month Club Kit over pieces of the following colored cardstock; Pink Sand Cardstock and Dahlia Cardstock for the pink flowers. Beeswax Cardstock and Saffron Cardstock for the yellow flowers. Waterfall Cardstock and Lagoon Cardstock for the aqua flowers. Fern Cardstock for the leaves and last but not least, Gold cardstock for the flower anthers.
Once, I had all dies line up over the colored cardstock pieces, I went ahead to run each of them through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine to die-cut each part of the flowers out of them.
Next, to continue with the die-cutting process off, I went ahead to die-cut a few branches using one of the dies including in the set and then, to finish the die-cutting process off, I also went ahead to die-cut the card sentiment using; the shadow and top layer dies for the just a note die-cutting words, which I’ve had gotten die-cut out of white and gold cardstock.
Thus, as soon as I had finished die-cutting each piece, I went ahead to assemble the flowers and branches. And, once I had that step done, I started the card assembling. As for the card assembling, I went ahead to create 4 floral branches with the assembled flowers and then, I set them off aside.
Meanwhile, I trim off the edges of an A2 white card panel to H 5-1/4” x W 4.0” inches using my Comfort Paper Trimmer and then, I went ahead to carefully glue down over it each floral cluster using, Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue. Once, that step was completed, cut off the excess pieces using a scissor and then, I adhered the backing of it with craft foam and double-side adhesive to an A2 top folding white card base. Lastly, I glued down the card sentiment, and to finish the card off, I also glued down here and there some crystal sequins to add an extra touch of shine to the card.
With that being said friends, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I made this extra dimensional and textured “Just a Note” floral card showcasing this month’s Large Die of the Month Club.
