Spellbinders SEP-2021 DOM┃Inspiration Card

Happy Monday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you this quick and simple, yet extra dimensional “Birthday” slimline inspiration card made showcasing the newest, SEPTEMBER-2021 “Layered Mix & Match Sentiments” Small Die of the Month Club Kit by Spellbinders. Along with it, I’ve also used “Just a Tweet” SEPTEMBER-2021 Large Die of the Month Club Kit to add the dimensional floral-focal point to the card and Hemstitch Slimline Etched Dies to add the detailed edge to the front card panel. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step on how I made it ↓

Therefore, this month’s Small Die of the Month Club Kit includes 19 cutting word dies, which die-cut the top and shadow layer for each of them. Having that said, I went ahead to line up the top layer of 4 dies from the set over a large piece of gold cardstock and then, I went ahead to run them through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine.

Thus, as soon as I had finished die-cutting each word out of the gold cardstock, I went ahead to repeat the same step, but this time to die-cut each word a few times out of white cardstock.

Next, after I had finished die-cutting all die-cutting words out of gold and white cardstock, I went ahead to stack them all up and then, I set them off aside, so I could start the card assembling.

As, for the card assembling, I went ahead to line up the largest die from Hemstitch Slimline Etched Dies over a large piece of white cardstock, and then I ran them through the die-cut machine to add the detailed edge to the white card panel. Then, I went ahead to foam mounting the backing of the card panel over a slimline white card base to add a bit of dimension. And, once the card panel was mounted over the card base, I went ahead to glue down the dimensional die-cutting words over the lower side of the front panel. Then, I finished the card off by adhering down the dimensional die-cutting focal point which, I’ve had previously created using the dies including in this month’s Large Die of the Month Club Kit to create the bird and birthday balloon as well as the dies including in this month’s Small Die of the Month Club Kit to create the small die-cutting flowers.

Lastly, to finish the card off, I went ahead to get some tiny jewels glue down here and there to add a pop of shine to the center of each flower as well as the bird eye. And, with that being said friends, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this quick and simple, yet extra dimensional “Birthday” slimline inspiration card showcasing the newest, SEPTEMBER-2021 “Layered Mix & Match Sentiments” Small Die of the Month Club Kit by Spellbinders.
