Spellbinders Sealed For Spring Collection┃Inspiration Card

Happy Friday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you a clean and simple inspiration card made with an extra “Delicate & Textured” look showcasing the latest; Sealed for Spring Collection for Spellbinders. This collection includes: Gift Bow Wax Seal Stamp, Scattered Flowers Wax Seal Stamp, Heart Tic Tac Toe Wax Seal Stamp, and Have a Nice Day Wax Seal Stamp. Also, besides using the elements from this collection, I used Peachy Pink Wax Beads and Wax Seal Starter Kit for the wax seal stamping process. Plus, Hello, Friend Sentiments Glimmer Hot Foil Plate Set for the card sentiment and conjunction with Sealed Twine Etched Dies, Sealed Leaf Sprigs Etched Dies, and Sealed Squiggles Etched Dies to add the extra embellishments to it. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it ↓

Therefore, for the wax seal stamping, I went ahead to use the Wax Seal Starter Kit along with Peachy Pink Wax Beads to do the wax seal using the Gift Bow Wax Seal Stamp. To do this step, I did it as you would do it with any wax seal stamping however, to add the gold foil accent, I used pieces of the gold foil leaf flakes included in the Crushed Glass with Gold Foil Leaf Flakes. This step is quite simple, as all you need to do is add the pieces of gold foil flakes right after pouring the melted wax and before placing the stamp over the melted wax.

That being said, after getting the first wax seal stamping completed, I went ahead to use the other seal stamps from the collection, and then to keep it simple, I used the same Peachy Pink Wax Beads. By the way, in the image above, you can see how the other wax seals look after I got them stamped. Also, I would like to mention that I used the Gold Metallic Marker to add a gold accent to the Heart Tic Tac Toe Wax Seal which you can see in the upper left side of the image above.

Thus, after getting the wax seal stamping process completed, I went ahead and do the process for the card embellishments and card background as well, so to do that first, I used the Universal Plate System Accessory Bundle and Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine along with this month’s 3D Embossing Folder of the Month Club to add texture to an A2 size white card panel.

Next, I used the die-cut machine along with Sealed Twine Etched Dies and gold cardstock to die-cut the gold twine-looking element twice from it. Also, I used two of the dies from the Sealed Squiggles Etched Dies to die-cut them out from the same gold cardstock.

So, after getting the die-cutting done for the gold elements, I went ahead to use the dies included in Sealed Leaf Sprigs Etched Dies to cut out the sprigs from white cardstock. Lastly, I selected one of the card sentiments that I had previously created from a previous project, and to be exact for that card sentiment, I used one of the hot foil plates and its coordinating die included in Hello, Friend Sentiments Glimmer Hot Foil Plate Set.

Moving on, after finishing off the card elements, I went ahead to get the centers of the gold twine-looking elements glued down together, and then I got the center of them glued in the lower right part of the textured card panel just as shown in the image above. Next, I got the ends glued to the back of the card panel, and then I proceeded to get the backing of the card panel adhered with double-sided adhesive to an A2 size top folding white card base.

Lastly, I went ahead to get the white die-cutting sprigs and the gold elements glued to the right side of the front card panel. Then, I got the wax-stamped seal adhered over them. By the way, to get the wax seal adhered with precision, I used one of the double-sided adhesive dots that come in the Double Sided Adhesive Dots for Wax Seal Stamp pack. That said, after getting that step completed, I went ahead to add the card sentiment to the left side, then to add an extra touch of shine, I also got glued down here and there some of the Metallic Pearls -Gold. And to get them glued down I used Jewels Picker and Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue.
