Happy Release Day Crafters! Today, Pinkfresh Studio is celebrating its January 2023 Stamp, Die, Stencil & Hot Foil Release with a fabulous blog hop. So, therefore, if you’re hopping along with us, welcome as you should have arrived here from Wanda’s Blog but, if this is your starting point, I’d like to invite you to start from the → Pinkfresh ‘Blog or by clicking the direct link provided below which will take you directly to the full list for this wonderful blog hop.
With that being said, today I’d like to share with you a delicate card inspiration with a “Monochromatic & Glimmering” look showcasing: the just-released Floral Trio Hot Foil, Floral Trio Stencils, and Floral Trio Die. This set also includes Floral Trio Stamp in case you aren’t into hot foil stamping, thus besides using this set, I have also used Wonderful Sentiments Hot Foil and Wonderful Sentiments Die for the card sentiment again this set also includes Wonderful Sentiments Stamp which happens to be the coordinating stamp. Lastly, I used Argyle Stencils to create the card background and of course PFS- Inks to add the pops of colors. So, without further ado let me share how I made it ↓
Therefore, for the hot foil stamping step, I went ahead to use the Floral Trio Hot Foil plate along with the Glimmer Hot Foil System Platform and Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine plus, a large piece of white cardstock and a large piece of satin gold foil; foil which is included in Glimmer Hot Foil 4 Rolls - Satin Metallics Variety Pack. So, after I got the hot foil stamping done over the large piece of white cardstock, and to continue with the hot foil stamping process, I used the hot foil plates included in Wonderful Sentiments Hot Foil to get them hot foil stamped over pieces of white cardstock using, the same foil hue that I used for the floral cluster. Lastly, I also used the Solid Hot Foil Plate to complete the reverse hot foil stamping with leftover foil.
Next, right after getting the hot foil stamping process finished, I went ahead to add the pops of color to the floral cluster using some ink blending brushes plus each stencil included in the Floral Trio Stencil set along with the following ink hues: Ballet Slipper Ink, Coral Reef Ink, and a touch of Passion Fruit Ink for the flowers. Also, Fresh Pear Ink, Grassy Knoll Ink, and Olive Ink for the leaves. Then, to keep it simple and monochromatic, I went ahead to use the stencils included in Argyle Stencils to create the card background using, Ballet Slipper Ink and Coral Reef Ink. Soon after I finished adding the pops of colors to the floral cluster and card background, I went ahead to use the coordinating die to cut out the floral cluster from the cardstock. Then, to add dimension, I used once again the die to die-cut out 2 more times the floral cluster but this time from white cardstock.
Moving on, to continuing with the die-cutting process, I went ahead to cut out the card sentiments from the cardstock using their coordinating dies. As for the card sentiment, I went ahead to use one of the sentiments from the reverse hot foil stamping, and I also added dimension to it by die-cutting a few more sentiments from white cardstock. That said, to get the card assembled, I went ahead to use the Paper Trimmer to trim down 1/8 of an inch from each side of the card background, and then I got its backing adhered with double-sided adhesive to an A2 size top folding white card base.
Thereafter, I went ahead to layered all the floral clusters, and once I had that done I got the dimensional floral cluster glued down to the card. Next, I layered the card sentiments, and then I got it glued down over the floral cluster. Lastly, to finish the card off, I went ahead to add an extra touch of sparkle by getting glued down here and there some of the Metallic Pearls -Gold.
And, with that being said friends, I hope this delicate card inspiration with a “Monochromatic & Glimmering” look inspires you to give these sets a try!
