Spellbinders OCT-2021 CSOM ┃Inspiration Cards

Happy Wednesday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you a set of “Sending You” inspiration cards made using “Sending You” OCT-2021 Clear Stamp of the Month Club Kit by Spellbinders which now comes as pack with its coordinating die set → Clear Stamp & Die of the Month Club Kit. Besides that, to make this set I’m pairing this month’s Small Die of the Month Club Kit and Large Die of the Month Club Kit. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step by step on how I made them ↓

Therefore, for the first example I made a quick and simple Sending you a big thank you greeting card using the two largest sentiments including in this month’s Clear Stamp of the Month Club Kit. Thus, I went ahead to start off by placing down a large piece of white cardstock inside my MISTI Stamping Tool, and once I had it onto place, I proceeded to line up both large stamp images over it.

Next, I went ahead to get them stamped over the cardstock piece using embossing ink, so I could get them gold heat embossing right afterwards using, gold embossing powder and my heat gun embossing tool. Thus, as soon as I’ve got the heat embossing step completed, I went head to line up over them, their coordinating dies and then, I ran them though my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine.

Lastly, I went ahead to get the card assembling going by creating an aqua/teal gradient background on the bottom part of an A2 size white card panel. So, to do that, I left 1/4” of an inch margin between each color to create the gradient look using the following color combo; Waterfall Cardstock, Teal Topaz Cardstock, Lagoon Cardstock and Blue Spruce Cardstock along with gold cardstock. And, once I’ve got that done, I went ahead to trim off the edges of the card background a little smaller than the card base using my Comfort Paper Trimmer. So, before getting the card panel adhered to its card base, I went ahead to stamp and heat emboss a sub-sentiment over the right side of the card, right above the gradient design to compliment the die-cutting sentiment which I’ve got created previously. That being said, I went ahead to get glue down the die-cutting sentiment right above the smaller sentiment using Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue, and then I finished the card off by adhered down the card panel with craft foam and double-sided adhesive to an A2 top folding white card base. Then, as a finishing touch, I decided to glue down a bow over the left side of the gradient design. A bow which I’ve got previously created using DMC in metallic gold.

For the next example, I made another sending you greetings card, however for this example I added a holiday vibe by using the dies including in this month’s Small Die of the Month Club Kit.

Therefore, I kept it simple by using the same color cardstock combination to die cut the pieces to get the truck assembling. However, to add the green hue for the trees I used, Rainforest Cardstock and Fern Cardstock. Thus, as soon as I’ve got the truck assembling completed, I’ve gone ahead to put it off aside, so I could work on the front card panel.

So, to create the front card panel, I went ahead to trim off the edges of an A2 size white card panel and then, I added a few scoring lines to the bottom part of it to, just to add a subtle texture to it. Soon after that I’ve got finished marking the scoring lines over the card panel, I went ahead to skip the die-cutting for the large sentiment, so I went ahead to get the sentiment stamped over the left side of the card panel, and once I’ve got that done, I got the front card panel adhered to an A2 size white card base in a landscaping form. Next, I proceeded to get the card assembling by mounting the truck over the right side of the card and last but not least, I mounted as well two sub-sentiments which I’ve gotten previously stamped and gold heat embossing over a strip white cardstock along with a square shape white cardstock piece which by the way, I’ve gotten die-cut using one of the dies including in this month’s Small Die of the Month Club Kit.

The last example has a little interaction touch, as Santa’s legs hanging from the chimney swing side to side. So therefore, to do this card, I’ve got used the dies including in this month’s Large Die of the Month Club Kit.

Thus, I went ahead to create the wall texture over an A2 side white card panel using Plaid Company Embossing Folder. Once, I had that step done, I continued to get the backing adhered to an A2 top folding white cards base, and the I set the card base off to the side. Meanwhile, I went ahead to use the dies including in the set to die-cut each piece for the chimney assembling out of Poppy Field Cardstock, Fern Cardstock, Waterfall Cardstock, Teal Topaz Cardstock, Lagoon Cardstock, Blue Spruce Cardstock, Onyx Cardstock, Timber Cardstock and Portobello Cardstock.

Moving on, I went ahead to get the chimney assembling complete (as shown in the image above) and then, I went ahead to compliment the chimney sentiment with the die-cutting sentiment which I’ve had gotten created in the same way as I did in the first example using the largest sentiments from the stamp set along with their coordinating dies.

With that being said friends, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this set of “Sending You” inspiration cards showcasing this month’s “Sending You” OCT-2021 Clear Stamp of the Month Club Kit by Spellbinders
