Spellbinders KOM NOV-2022┃Inspiration Cards

Happy Saturday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you a set of inspirational cards made with a “Shaker & Colorful” look using: "Time Offline" Cardmaking Club of the Month by Spellbinders. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step on how I made them ↓

Therefore, for the first example as per usual with every card-making kit club, I started by using the die set included in the kit. Thus, I went ahead to use the dies to create a window over the upper side of a white card panel that I created from one of the textured card bases which are also included in the kit. Along with the dies, I also used the Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine for the die-cutting process. Next, I used the cardstock hues included in the kit to cut out the smaller elements, and then I used a piece of acetate and one of the patterned paper sheets to add the background effect to the shaker window.

Next, after getting the die-cutting step completed, I proceeded to get the background adhered to the front part of one of the textured card bases. Then, I went ahead to create the shaker window panel and I added some of the sequins that are also included in the kit to use them as the shaker elements. Lastly, I created a small cluster with the small elements, and then, I got them glued down on the left side of the shaker window. Last but certainly not least, to finish the card off, I used one of the stamp images to get the card sentiment stamped under the right side of the shaker window.

For the second example, I created a starry night landscape design, so to do that, I went ahead to select two patterned paper sheets one to add the sky and the other to add the land.

Then, after adding the background to the card base, I went ahead to select some of the die-cut shapes to create the full mountain scene. So, after getting them selected, I proceeded to glue down the trees and the mountains. Next, I got glued down the girl and boy along with the rest of the die-cut shapes to create the full scene.

Having that said, as soon as, I had finished creating the starry night scene in the mountains, I finish the card off by gluing down some of the sequins and by adding a little sparkle to the top of the mountains. As for the sparkling touch, I used the Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Pen.

Lastly, for the last example, I went ahead to select the wood grain pattern sheet to add the card background. Then, I went ahead to select some of the die-cut shapes to create the focal point on the right side of the front card panel.

Once, I had the focal point added to the right side of the card, I went ahead to finish the card off by gluing down here and there some of the sequins and by adding the card sentiment on the lower left side of the card. By the way, I used two of the puffy stickers included in the kit to create the card sentiment.

And, with that being said friends, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this set of inspirational cards with a “Shaker & Colorful” look using: "Time Offline" Cardmaking Club of the Month by Spellbinders.
