Spellbinders JUL-2021 GOM┃Inspiration Card

Happy Friday, Friends! On today’s blog I’d like to share with you a sweet and simple “Encouragement” inspiration card made with a combination of “Mini Slimline Nested Glimmer Dots” Glimmer Hot Foil Kit Of The Month Club and “Mini Slimline Envelope & Nested Card Creator” Large Die of the Month by Spellbinders. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it ↓

Therefore, this month’s Glimmer Hot Foil Kit Of The Month Club includes 7 hot foils that creates different sizes of dotted foil stamping frame so having that said, I started by setting up my Glimmer Hot Foil System Platform and Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine over my Crafter's Essential Cutting and Alignment Mat. And, once I had that step completed, I went ahead to turn on the glimmer hot foil platform, and while my platform was heating up, I went ahead to line up over a large piece of white cardstock the third-to-last from smaller to large glimmer plate including in this month’s club kit.

Thus, as soon as I had the glimmer plate line up over the white cardstock piece, I went ahead to cut a large piece of Glimmer Hot Foil Roll - Polished Brass using the Quick Trimmer. And, once the glimmer hot foil platform was ready to foil, I went ahead to get the foiling done over the white cardstock piece by running the platform through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine.

So, as soon as I had the foil stamping completed over the cardstock, I went ahead to use the largest scalloped dies including in this month’s “Mini Slimline Envelope & Nested Card Creator” Large Die of the Month so, I could die-cut the scalloped background panel out of the cardstock.

Lastly, after I had finished die-cutting the front panel for the card, I went ahead to get a sentiment stamped and heat embossing in the center of the card panel, and once I had that step done, I’ve got it adhered the backing of it down over a mini slimline white card base using, craft foam and double-sided adhesive to raise some dimension. Then, to finish this sweet mini slimline card, I went ahead to adhere 2-dimensional butterfly stickers which, by the way, are included in this month’s Card Kit Club.
