Spellbinders JAN-2021 CSOM ┃Inspiration Cards

Happy Monday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you a set of “Valentine’s Day” cards made using “Sending Love” JAN-2021 Clear Stamp of the Month Club Kit which pairs perfectly with Small Die of the Month Club Kit and JAN-2021 Large Die of the Month Club Kit also by Spellbinders. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step by step on how I made them ↓

So therefore, for the first example, I started by using every single patterned heart stamp image from this month’s Clear Stamp of the Month Club. Thus to do that, I placed an A2 size white card panel inside my MISTI Stamping Tool and then, I went ahead to get stamped each heart stamp image from the stamp set using Cotton Candy, Curry and Tropic Teal inks until a full pattern were created on the card panel. So, right after that I’ve had finished the stamping, I went ahead to trim off the edges from the card panel using my paper trimmer, and once I had that done, I’ve gone ahead to mount with craft foam tape the patterned card panel over an A2 side folding white card base.

Moving on, once the card panel was mounted over the card base, I went ahead to set it off to the side while I went ahead to get a sentiment stamped and gold heat emboss on a piece of white cardstock. Therefore, after I’ve got the sentiment stamped and heated emboss, I also went ahead to get one of scripted heart stamp image stamp and gold heat emboss as well on a piece of white cardstock. As, I mentioned above the stamp set pairs perfectly with this month’s Small Die of the Month Club so that said, I went ahead to use the heart dies included in the kit to die-cut the heat embossed heart. Nevertheless, right after that I’ve had finished die-cutting the heart, I’ve gone ahead to mount with craft foam tape the sentiment and the die-cutting hearts (as shown in the image above) to add dimension to the card. Last but not least, to finish the card off, I glued down here and there with liquid glue some Crystal Confetti to add a pop of shine!

For the second example, I paired once again the Clear Stamp of the Month Club Kit with Small Die of the Month Club Kit. Therefore, I started by die-cutting the large frame from the small die of the month frame out of white cardstock. Then, right after that I’ve had finished the die-cutting using my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine, I went ahead to get it foam mounted to an A2 top folding white card base. Next, I went ahead to die-cut the small frame from the set first out of Curry and Cotton Candy color cardstock and then out White cardstock because, I wanted to add a pop of color to the greenery and the tiny flowers from the small frame.

Moving on, right after that all my die-cutting frames were finished, I went ahead to glue down with liquid glue the green frame over the card base. Then, I carefully fussy cut the small flowers out the pink frame using a small pair of scissors and I’ve got them glue down with liquid glue over the frame. Lastly, I carefully went ahead to fussy cut the outer detailed frame from the white frame also using the small pair of scissor and then, I also got it glue down to the frame (as shown in the image above) letting that way the green and pink colors pop over the white frames. That said, to finish the card off, I went ahead to stamp one of the scripted heart sentiments from the stamp set using Cotton Candy Ink which right afterwards, I’ve had die-cutting it out of the white cardstock and gold cardstock using the heart dies included in the set. Finally, I layered both hearts and I inlaid them to the frame adding that way a slightly pop of gold to it.

For the third and last example, I went ahead to pair this month’s Clear Stamp of the Month Club Kit with Large Die of the Month Club Kit so therefore, I went ahead to line up over a large piece of white cardstock the largest die from the large die of the month set. Then, I went ahead to run them through my die-cutting machine and once I had that step done, I went ahead to use my Tool ‘n One to remove the small hearts out of the die-cutting frame. Thus, after I’ve got them all remove from it, I went ahead to glue down the die-cutting frame with liquid glue over a slimline white cardstock base.

Moving on, right after that I’ve gotten the frame glue down over the card base, I went ahead to set it off aside while I’ve gone ahead to get the stamping done. So, for the stamping I went ahead to stamp 2 of the die-cutting hearts created from the frame using Tropical Teal ink along with one of the patterned heart stamp image from the stamp set. Then, I also have got heat embossing a sentiment over one of the die-cutting hearts using one of the scripted heart sentiments. Last but not least, I also got stamped and gold heat embossing over a strip of white cardstock the sentiment included in the set and once I had that done, I went ahead to inlay the stamped hearts to the card as well as the gold heat embossing heart which I mounted with craft foam tape to add dimension. Lastly, to finish the card off, I went ahead to embellish the card by gluing down with liquid glue two small floral cluster which I’ve had previously created using the greenery and floral dies from the set.

As finishing touches, I went ahead to glue down here and there with liquid glue a combination of clear and pink jewels to the second and third examples adding that way to them an extra touch of sparkle. With that being said friends, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve created this set “Valentine’s Day” cards made showcasing how perfectly the “Sending Love” JAN-2021 Clear Stamp of the Month Club Kit works along with Small Die of the Month Club Kit and JAN-2021 Large Die of the Month Club Kit by Spellbinders.
