Garden Florals┃Inspiration Card

Happy Sunday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you this clean and simple “Floral” inspiration card made using Garden Florals Layered Stencil Set and Garden Florals Die along with this beautiful set, I will also been using Simple Plaid Stencil Set to create the background and Slim Lacy Edgers Die Set to add the delicate lace accents. With that said, all sets are by Pinkfresh Studio so, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it ↓

To begin with, I started by creating the the card panel so to do that, I went ahead to line up over an A2 size white card panel the Stencil #2 from Simple Plaid Stencil Set. Once, that I had them both line up, I went ahead to ink up the card panel over the stencil using an ink blending brush along with Misty Coast Ink.

Thus, after I’ve had finished the ink blending using the stencil #2, I went ahead to remove it from the card panel and then, I’ve gone ahead to line up over the card panel the Stencil #1 from the set. Therefore, to add a little depth to the ink blending over the card panel, I went ahead to slightly ink up the card panel using once again an ink blending brush along with Rocky Slope Ink.

Moving on, after I’ve had finished the ink blending over the card panel, I’ve gone ahead to trim the edges off from it to H 5-1/5 X 3-1/8’’ inches. Once, I had that step done, I went ahead to glue down to each side of it a delicate lacy edge with I’ve got previously die-cutting out of white cardstock using one of the slim lacy edgers die from Slim Lacy Edgers Die Set. Therefore, after I had finished that off, I went ahead to mount the card panel with craft foam tape to an A2 top folding white card base and I set it off to aside while I started the ink blending for the floral step.

As for the floral steps, I went ahead to line up over an A2 size white card panel the Stencil #1 from Garden Florals Layered Stencil Set and then, I’ve got it ink up using an ink blending brush along with Mint Ink. Next, I kept going the ink blending by using Stencil #2 along with Ballet Slipper Ink. Stencil #3 along with Coral Reef Ink. Stencil #4 along with Sparkling Rose Ink and Passion Fruit Ink to add depth to the flowers and last but not least Stencil #5 along with Olive Ink to finish the ink blending off for the greenery. Therefore, after I’ve had finished the ink blending for the floral cluster, I went ahead to line it up with its coordinating Garden Florals Die and then, I went ahead to run them through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine to die-cut it out from the white card panel.

Lastly, right after that I’ve had finished the die-cutting for the floral cluster, I’ve gone ahead to foam mounting it to the card adding a bit of dimension to them and then to finish the card off, I’ve gone ahead also to foam mount a sentiment which, I’ve had previously stamp on a strip of white cardstock using one sentiment from Keep Going Stamp Set along with Detail Black Ink. And, with that being said friends, I hope that you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this clean and simple “Floral” inspiration card.
