Spellbinders GOM FEB-2023┃Inspiration Card

Happy Wednesday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you a clean and delicate inspiration card made with a “Floral & Glimmering” look using the "Tulip Border" FEB-2022 Glimmer Hot Foil Kit Of The Month Club by Spellbinders. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it ↓

Therefore, I went ahead to start by getting the hot foil stamping done over a large piece of white cardstock. Thus, for the hot foil stamping process, I went ahead to use the glimmer floral heart plate included in the club along with the Glimmer Hot Foil System Platform and Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine. Then, I use a large piece of Glimmer Hot Foil Roll - Polished Brass as well.

So, after I was done with the hot foil stamping for the floral image, I went ahead to do the hot foil stamping for the card’s sentiments too, so I used another piece of white cardstock along with the same foil hue and the two hot foil plates included in the club kit.

That being said, after getting the hot foil stamping done for the card’s sentiments, I went ahead to set them aside, and then I used alcohol markers to add pops of color to the tulips and their leaves. And, once I had finished adding the pops of color, I proceeded to use the coordinating die included in the club kit to cut out the top border from them. Afterward, I went ahead to line up the die over the top edge, and then I went ahead to run them through the die-cut machine.

Thereafter, as soon as, I had finished with the die-cutting process for the tulip border, I went ahead to use the die included in the club kit to die-cut the sentiments from the cardstock as well. Thus, after getting the sentiments cut out from the cardstock, I went ahead to get the card’s assembling started, so I got an A2 size white card panel trim down 1/8 of an inch from each side using the Paper Trimmer, and then I got its backing adhered with double-sided adhesive to an A2 size side folding white card base in a landscaping shape.

Lastly, I added pieces of craft foam adhesive to the back side of the tulip border to add dimension, and then I got the backing of it mounted over the front card panel just like, you can see in the image above. And, to finish the card off, I went ahead to get one of the card’s sentiments mounted over the upper right corner.

And with that being said, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this clean and delicate inspiration card with a “Floral & Glimmering” look using the "Tulip Border" FEB-2022 Glimmer Hot Foil Kit Of The Month Club by Spellbinders.
