Happy Tuesday, Friends! In today’s blog post, I’d like to share with you a delicate and intricate encouraging inspirational card made with a “Leafy Floral Frame” look using the Floral Outline Frame Die to create the die-cutting floral frame. Detailed Leaf Hot Foil, Detailed Leaf Stencil, and Detailed Leaf Die to add the glimmering leafy focal point. Besides that, I used Glitter Drops: Butterscotch to add an extra touch of sparkle to the card, and last but not least PFS- Inks to add pops of color to the detailed leaf. So, without further ado, let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it ↓
Therefore, due to the intricate die-cutting step for the floral frame, I went ahead to use the Empress - Die Cutting and Embossing Machine to do the die-cutting process for the floral frame.
Thus to do that, I went ahead to cut out the floral frame once from a large piece of white cardstock. Next, after getting the die-cutting process done for the floral frame, I went ahead to add dots of Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue to its backing, but only to the inner corners because I only wanted to get the inner part of it glued down to its card base.
So, after adding the glue dots to the back side of the floral frame, I went ahead to get its backing glued down to an A2 size top folding white card base.
Thereafter, as soon as, I got that step completed, I proceeded to set the card base aside. Meanwhile, I went ahead to do the hot foil stamping for the leaf. So, to do that, first I went ahead to place the Glimmer Hot Foil System Platform and Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine over the Glass Craft Mat.
Secondly, for the hot foil stamping, I went ahead to use a large piece of white cardstock along with a large piece of the satin gold foil that is included in the Glimmer Hot Foil 4 Rolls - Satin Metallics Variety Pack, and the Detailed Leaf Hot Foil plate.
Nevertheless, as soon as I had finished getting the hot foil stamping for the leaf over the cardstock, I went ahead to use each stencil included in the Detailed Leaf Stencil.
As for the layered stenciling step, I went ahead to use some ink blending brushes along with the following ink hues; Peach Fuzz Ink, Apricot Ink, Clementine Ink, and Marigold Ink.
Once, I had finished adding the pops of color to the hot foil stamped leaf, I went ahead to use the Detailed Leaf Die to get the leaf cut out from the cardstock. Thus, after getting the die-cutting step completed for the leaf I proceeded to add a little dimension to it, so to do that, I added pieces of craft foam adhesive to its backside, and then I got the back of it adhered down to the front side of the card base.
Lastly, for the card’s sentiment, I went ahead to use the sentiment die included in the floral die set to die-cut it out from white cardstock (4X) and once from gold cardstock as well. So, after getting the die-cutting step done for the card’s sentiment, I went ahead to layer them over, and then I got the dimensional die-cutting sentiment glued down over the lower part of the detailed leaf, just like you can see in the image above.
Finally, to finish the card off, I went ahead to use Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue and Jewels Picker to get some of the Glitter Drops: Butterscotch glued down here and there on the card to add it an extra touch of sparkle.
