Spellbinders Quick & Easy Card Kit Of The Month Club FEB-2023┃Inspiration Cards

Happy Wednesday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you a set of inspirational cards made with a “Whimsical & Cheerful” look using: the "Spring Delight" Quick & Easy Card Kit of the Month Club by Spellbinders which now, they have adjusted the contents down and reduced the price so that the kits no longer require a die cutting machine. However, if you’re still interested in die-cutting, they will have the add-on Spring Tea Etched Die Set, which works perfectly with the contents from this kit. So, without further ado, let’s jump right into the step-by-step on how I made them ↓

Therefore, for the first example, I went ahead to use the Paper Trimmer to trim down one of the 6x6 patterned paper sheets to W 4.0x H 5-1/4 inches and then I got the backing of it adhered with double-sided adhesive to one of the white textured card bases that are included in the kit.

Next, after getting the patterned panel adhered to the card base, I went ahead to select a few of the die-cut shapes included in the die-cut shape pack, and then I got them adhered with a combination of liquid glue and square foam adhesives to create a dimensional and whimsical spring scene over the card. Lastly, to complete the card’s embellishments, I went ahead to add some of the puffy heart stickers and sequins to add the card a little extra touch of shine.

To continue, for the second example, I went ahead to trim down another patterned paper sheet, and then I got the backing of it adhered with double-sided adhesive to one of the white textured card bases. Next, I proceeded to select some of the die-cut shapes to create a floral wreath over the front card panel to create the card’s focal for it.

Thus, you can see in the image above how I ended up with the final look for the floral wreath, and how I used one of the die-cut shapes as the card’s sentiment. Finally, I finished the card off by getting some sequins glued down to add the right amount of shine.

As I mentioned at the beginning of this blog post, the adjusted Quick & Easy Card Kit of the Month Club does not include the die set as it was used before however, this month the Spring Tea Etched Die Set works perfectly with the content from the club kit, so I went ahead and use it to make the last card on today’s blog post.

So, I proceeded to use one of the patterned paper sheets along with one of the white textured card bases. Next, I used pieces of the A2 size colored card panels included in the kit along with the dies + the Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine to cut out the pieces for the teacup, large and small flowers, and the cute little bunny. Then, after getting the die-cutting pieces finished, I proceeded to get each image assembled, and then I added them to the front card panel. Last but certainly not least, I added a touch of shine by getting some sequins and tiny gold jewels glued down in the flower’s centers.
