Spellbinders GOM DEC-2022┃Inspiration Card

Happy Sunday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you a sweet and extra delicate inspiration card made with a “Subtle & Glimmering” floral look using "Floral Framed Glimmering Heart" DEC-2022 Glimmer Hot Foil Kit Of The Month Club by Spellbinders. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it ↓

Therefore, I went ahead to start by getting the hot foil stamping done over a large piece of Kraft cardstock. Thus, for the hot foil stamping process, I went ahead to use the glimmer floral heart plate included in the club along with the Glimmer Hot Foil System Platform and Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine + a large piece of Glimmer Hot Foil Roll - Opal.

So, after I was ready to do the hot foil stamping, I went ahead to do it a little over the center of the Kraft card panel, and then as soon as, I had that step completed, I used the Paper Trimmer to trim the edges down from the card panel a little bit smaller than the card base, and once I had that done, I quickly went ahead to get the backing of the card panel adhered to an A2 size top folding white card base.

Moving on, after getting the card panel adhered to the card base, I went ahead to put it aside to get the rest of the hot foil stamping done. Thus, I used the scallop hot foil plate to get the scallop heart hot foil stamped over a piece of Light Pink cardstock using the same foil hue to continue the subtle effect. So, after I finished the hot foil stamping, I used its coordinating die to cut out the scalloped heart.

Next, I used the solid hot foil plate to get it hot foil stamped over a piece of white cardstock, again with the same foil hue, and then I used its coordinating die to cut it out from the cardstock. Lastly, to finish the hot foil stamping, I used one of the foil plates to get the card sentiment hot foil stamped over a piece of white cardstock but for the card sentiment, I used Glimmer Hot Foil Roll: Aura to create a little contrast. And to finish the die-cutting part completed, I used the banner die included in the club kit to cut out the card sentiment.

Thus, as soon as, I finished the die-cutting step for the card sentiment, I went ahead to get the card assembling started. So, first I went ahead to get the scalloped heart mounted over the hot foil stamped floral heart in the card front panel using craft foam adhesive to add dimension. Second, I went ahead to add dimension to the solid die-cutting heart, and then I got the backing of it adhered to the scalloped heart. Third, I went ahead to add dimension to the card sentiment banner, and then, I got the backing of it adhered to the solid heart.

Last but certainly not least, I used the rest of the dies included in the club kit to cut out some greenery and some flowers, and then I added them to the sides of the banner. The image above shows the subtle glimmering effect created on the Kraft cardstock, and how the Opal Color Essentials Gems add extra touches of sparkle to the card as well.
