Spellbinders Elegant Twist Collection by Becca Feeken┃Inspiration Cards
Happy Thursday, Friends! I On today’s blog, I’ll be sharing with you 2 “Weeding Theme” floral cards that I made showcasing the just released Spellbinders - Elegant Twist by Becca Feeken Collection. So, without further ado, let’s jump right into the step by step on how I made them ↓
To begin with, I stared by lining up the 2-larger dies from the Elegant Twist Ovals Etched Dies over a white card panel, and soon after they were lined up and secure I ran them through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine. Once, the first detailed oval white panel was done, I lined up the other 2-smaller dies also from the set over another white card panel and I ran them through the die-cutting machine to create the smaller oval panel.
So, after both detailed oval panels were done, I mounted with craft foam and double-sided tape the larger oval panel to an A2 top folding white card base then, I’ve got adhered the backing of the smaller detailed oval panel with double-sided tape on top of the larger oval. Moving on, after both oval panels were adhered to the card base, I glued down with liquid glue a few sprigs that I’ve had previously created by running through the die-cutting machine the sprig dies which, were included in the June-2020 Large Die of the Month. Therefore, after the sprigs were glued to the oval panel, I glued down with hot glue a tied bow that had previously created from a large piece of see-through light pink ribbon. And lastly, after the tied bow were adhered over the sprigs, I also adhered over the tied bow with hot glue a pre-made paper rose and I tucked in around the paper rose 3 crystal picks as embellishments to add a touch of shine. Finally, to finish the card off I mounted a sentiment which I had previously foiled with Glimmer Hot Foil Roll - Blush over a piece of white cardstock.
NOTE: The Best Wishes sentiment is one of the items included in the Glimmer Hot Foil System Platform.
The second example was basically the same except, than instead of using the oval set I created the card panel details using the Elegant Twist Rectangles Etched Dies set.
Plus, I changed things a bit by creating a landscaping design instead of a portrait design.
In the image above you can see the sweet and soft touch added by the light pink see-through ribbon and the pre-made paper roses.
While in the image above, you can see the elegant twist detail created from the frame dies from this collection.
