Happy Friday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you an inspirational set of cards made with a lovely “Spring & Airy” look featuring: "Pocket Bunny" FEB-2023 Clear Stamp & Die of the Month Club by Spellbinders. Along with this month’s stamp and die, I also used Large Die of the Month Club and Embossing Folder of the Month Club to add texture, so without further ado, let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made them ↓
Therefore, I started by getting the stamping done for each stamp image included in the stamp set so for the first example, I went ahead to place a large piece of Strathmore Bristol Paper inside the MISTI Stamp Tool to get one of the stamp images stamped over it with Detail Black Ink. Next, I used some of the ARTEZA Real Brush Pens to add quick pops of color to the bunny, flowers, and leaves.
Thus, after adding the pops of color to the stamped image, I went ahead to set it aside to let the quick water-colored images dry. Meanwhile, I used the Paper Trimmer to trim down a gold panel from a large piece of gold cardstock to W 3-3/4 x H 5.0 inches. Then, I got the backing of the smaller gold card panel mounted with craft foam adhesive to an A2 size top folding white card base.
Lastly, I trimmed down the card panel with the stamped image slightly smaller than the gold panel, and then I got the backing of it adhered with double-sided adhesive to the gold card panel. Nevertheless, to finish the card off, I went ahead to get one of the card sentiment stamped with detailed black ink over a small piece of white cardstock, and then I used its coordinating die to cut it out from the cardstock. Then right after I got that done, I also went ahead to die-cut a few more sentiments from plain white cardstock and gold cardstock to add the sentiment some dimension and a gold shadow, and I got the backing of the sentiment glued down over the upper center part of the card.
For the second example, I made a more intricate card, so to make it, I went ahead to get one of the stamp images stamped and water-colored in the same way as I did in the first example. However, this time I used its coordinating die to cut out the stamped images from the cardstock piece.
Next, for the card assembling, I used the dies included in the Large Die of the Month Club to die-cut the detailed card background from gold cardstock. Then, I used one of the dies from the set to cut out the oval shape from white cardstock. Once I got that step done, I went ahead to get one of the sentiments from the stamp set stamped with detailed black ink on the lower side of the oval shape. So, right after that, I got the card sentiment stamped over the oval shape, and I got the backing of the intricate card background glued down to an A2 size top folding white card base. Followed by that, I inlaid with craft foam adhesive the die-cutting oval-shaped to the center part of the intricate card panel to add dimension, and then to finish the card off I got glued the die-cutting stamped image glued down over the card sentiment.
For the last example, I went ahead to use the last stamp image included in the set, so that being said, I went ahead to get it stamped with detailed black ink over a large piece of white cardstock. Next, I added pops of color to it and then I used its coordinating die to cut it put from the cardstock and gold cardstock as well. Then, in the same way, as I did for the first example, I went ahead to get one of the card sentiments stamped and added its dimension with the gold shadow. But this time, I also did it with the large, stamped image, just like you can see it in the image above.
Moving on, for the card assembling, I used this month’s Embossing Folder Kit of the Month Club to add texture to an A2 size white card panel and once I got that step completed, I proceeded to trim off 1/8 of an inch from each side and then I got its backing adhered with double-sided adhesive to an A2 size top folding white card base. Then, after doing that, I created a smaller white card panel with a slightly gold frame, and I got it adhered with double-sided adhesive to the textured card panel. Lastly, I got the large image glued down on the lower center part of the smaller card base, and then I got the card finished off by getting the card sentiment glued down over the large image.
And, with that being said friends, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this inspirational set of cards with a lovely “Spring & Airy” look featuring: "Pocket Bunny" FEB-2023 Clear Stamp & Die of the Month Club by Spellbinders.
