Intricate Floral & Celebration┃Inspiration Card

Happy Friday, Friends! In today’s blog post, I’d like to share a delicate and intricate inspirational card made with a “Floral & Intricate Background” look using the Floral Trio Stamp, Floral Trio Stencils, and Floral Trio Die to add the floral touch to the card. Also, along with this set, I used Essentials: Fancy Diagonal Stripes Die to create the intricate and delicate see-through card panel. Plus, Glitter Drops: Leaf to add a touch of sparkle, and last but not least PFS- Inks to add pops of color to the flowers and leaves. So, without further ado, let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it ↓

Therefore, I went ahead to place inside the MISTI Stamp Tool one A2 size white card panel, and then I added over it the floral stamp image from the Floral Trio Stamp to get it stamped twice over the panel. As for the stamping step, I used Magic Powder Bag to remove any static from the card panel, then Brutus Monroe Embossing Ink for the actual stamping. Lastly, I got the heat embossing process done over the stamped image using Metallic Embossing Powder- Gilded and Wow Dual Speed Heat Tool.

Thus, as soon as I got the stamping and heat embossing steps completed over the card panel, I proceeded to place the card panel over the Glass Craft Mat, and then I used the coordinating stencils included in the Floral Trio Stencils set to add pops of color to the flowers and leaves using, some ink blending brushes and the following ink hues: Ballet Slipper Ink, Coral Reef Ink, Passion Fruit Ink, Fresh Pear Ink, Grassy Knoll Ink, and Olive Ink.

Moving on, after getting inked up the floral cluster, I went ahead to set it aside to let the inks soak into the cardstock. Meanwhile, due to the intricate die-cutting step for the card background, I went ahead to use the Empress - Die Cutting and Embossing Machine to cut out the diagonal die-cutting background. So, to do that, I went ahead to line up the Essentials: Fancy Diagonal Stripes Die over a large piece of white cardstock, and then I ran them through the die-cut machine. Next, I repeated the same steps to cut out a second panel from white cardstock as well.

That said, as soon as I had the die-cutting steps completed for both die-cutting card backgrounds, I went ahead to get the card base assembling started. So, to do that, first, I flipped one of them over, and second, I got them carefully glued down together to create a delicate and intricate see-through woven panel looking. Next, I got opened one A2 size top folding white card base, and I used the Paper Trimmer to trim off the front flap but not completely edge-to-edge because I left 1/4 of an inch to use that 1/4 of an inch as a hinge to get the intricate panel adhered over the 1/4 of an inch created hinge.

Nevertheless, I went ahead to add a strip of Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue to the front part of the 1/4 of an inch, and then I got the see-through woven panel glued down over it. Then, to continue with the card’s assembling, I proceeded to use the Floral Trio Die to cut out the floral cluster from the card panel but not only that because I also used the die to cut out a few more floral clusters from plain white cardstock to add dimension to it.

Lastly, after getting the die-cutting done, I went ahead to layer them together to create a dimensional floral cluster, and then I got it glued down over the intricate card panel. And finally, after getting that done, I went ahead to add the card sentiment over the lower left corner of the card, and I also added a touch of sparkle to the card by getting glued don here and there some of the Glitter Drops: Leaf. By the way, I created the card sentiment using one of the card sentiments included in the stamp set and the coordinating die included in the die set as well.

And, with that being said, friends, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this delicate and intricate inspirational card made with a “Floral & Intricate Background” look using stamps, dies, stencils, and more by Pinkfresh Studio.
