To begin with, I started by running through the die-cutting machine the Snowflake Die to die-cut 2X out of heavy weight white card stock. Once, the snowflake die-cuttings were done, I set them aside and I ran though the die-cutting machine the top layer die from the Holiday Greetings Die to die-cut out of white card stock and the shadow layer from the die to die-cut out vellum. Right after when both die-cuttings were done, I set them aside, and I ran through the die-cutting machine a white card panel along with Snowflake Background Embossing Folder this time to dry emboss the card panel for this card because, I wanted to add texture to it.
Soon after, when all the pieces were ready to create the card layout, I trimmed the edges as usual from the dry embossed card panel a bit smaller than the card base and I adhered the backing of it to an A2 top folding white card base with foam mounting tape. Then, I adhered just the center of the backing from the first white snowflake die-cutting to the card. As, for the second snowflake die-cutting, I added Embossing Ink and I glitter heat embossed it with Under the Sea Embossing Glitter. Right after the heat embossing, I adhered the center of the sparkly/glittery snowflake with liquid glue to the white snowflake. I did it this way because, I wanted to add lots of dimension to the card.
Lastly, I adhered with liquid glue the top layer of the Holiday Greetings die-cutting to the shadow layer and I adhered the greeting on top of the snowflake. As a finishing touch, I covered the greeting with Glossy Accent to add a shiny look and I adhered some of the Pink Moonstone Sequin Mix to add even more shine! With that being said, I hope this Glittery/Sparkly card inspire you to give this simple yet, fun design a try! As always, I appreciate the time you take to read my blog posts below you’ll find the supply list for the products used on today’s blog post.
