Happy Tuesday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you a friendship inspiration card made with an extra “Glimmering & Floral” look using: Geo Arch Hot Foil and Geo Arch Stencils to create the geometrical background look. Also, Simplest Gestures Hot Foil, Simplest Gestures Die, and Solid Hot Foil Plate to create the reverse hot foil stamping for the floral touch + Heart Smiles Stamp and Heart Smiles Die for the card sentiment. Last but certainly not least, PFS- Inks. to add the subtle pop of color for the background. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it ↓
Therefore, I started off by doing the hot foil stamping process using for the geometrical card background using; Geo Arch Hot Foil along with my Glimmer Hot Foil System Platform, Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine and a piece of Glimmer Hot Foil Roll - Gold.
Thus, as soon as, I had finished getting the hot foil stamping done, I proceeded to use some ink blending brushes along with each stencil included in Geo Arch Stencils plus the following ink hues: Ballet Slipper Ink, Peach Fuzz Ink and Evergreen Ink. Next, after finishing the layered stenciling process for the card background, I went ahead to use my Paper Trimmer ti trim off 1/4 of an inch from each side of the card panel and then, I got its backing adhered to an an A2 size top folding white card base using Double Sided Adhesive Foam to add a little bit of dimension.
Once, I had the card background mounted over its base, I proceeded to get it embellished, as shown in the image above by using the reverse hot foil stamped floral that I had left over from a previous project along with a card sentiment that I had also left over from a previous project. By the way, as I mentioned at the beginning of this post I used; Simplest Gestures Hot Foil, Simplest Gestures Die and Solid Hot Foil Plate to create the reverse and die-cutting floral accent. Also, Heart Smiles Stamp and Heart Smiles Die for the card sentiment.
Finally, to finish the card off, I decided to add an extra touch of shine to the card by using my Jewels Picker and Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue to glue down here and there some of the Metallic Pearls -Gold. And, with that being said friends, I hope that you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this friendship inspiration card made with an extra “Glimmering & Floral” look using products by Pinkfresh Studio.
