Rare & Beautiful + Folk Floral Print┃Inspiration Card

Happy Sunday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you a beautiful “Friendship” folk inspiration card made using Rare & Beautiful Stamp Set and Rare & Beautiful Die. Along with this fabulous floral set, I’ve also used Folk Floral Print Layering Stencil Set to create the folk background + Essentials: Pretty Frames Die Set and Essentials: Stitched Rectangles Die Set to add the stitching and die-cutting details. Also, I’ve used Jewels: Lavender to embellish the card + PFS- Inks to add the pop of color to the card background. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it ↓

Therefore, as usual with every layered stencil set, I started off by placing a white card panel over my Make Art - Stay-tion - 7 Inch. Next, I went ahead to line up over the card panel the stencil #1 from Folk Floral Print Layering Stencil Set and then, I’ve got them both secured using the magnets.

Thus, for the layered stenciling process, I went ahead to use a few ink blending brushes, so along with stencil #1 I used Mint Ink. Stencil #2 along with Soft Lilac Ink, stencil #3 along with Emerald City + Meadow Ink and Candy Violet Ink, stencil #4 along with Evergreen Ink, and last but not least stencil #5 along with Ocean Breeze Ink.

Having that said, after I had finished the layering stencil process for the card front panel, I went ahead to line up over it the largest die from Essentials: Stitched Rectangles Die Set along with the smaller die from Essentials: Pretty Frames Die Set. And, once I’ve had that step done, I’ve gone ahead to run them through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine to add the stitching details to the frame as well as the die-cutting detail in the center of the card panel.

Moving on, right after that I’ve had finished die-cutting the frame, I went ahead to mount over an A2 size top folding white card base the backing of the largest panel using craft foam along with double-sided adhesive and then, I’ve had gotten mounted as well the die-cutting frame in the center of the card. A die-cutting frame on which I’ve had stacked a few more white die-cutting frames to add dimension (as you can see in the image above.)

Lastly, as soon as I had the card base completed, I’ve gone ahead to set it off aside while I’ve gotten the sentiment stamped and white heat embossing on a large piece of black cardstock using the largest sentiment including in Rare & Beautiful Stamp Set. For the stamping and heat embossing I used my MISTI Stamping Tool along with embossing ink along with white embossing powder and my heat embossing gun tool. Therefore, right after that I’ve had finished the stamping and heat embossing for the sentiment, I went ahead to use the Rare & Beautiful Die as well to die-cut the sentiment out of the black cardstock. And, once I’ve had finished die-cutting the sentiment, I finished the card off by mounting the sentiment in the center of the card using square foam adhesives to add extra dimension to it.

Finally, to embellish the card off, I went ahead to glue down here and there with Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue some Jewels: Lavender to add a touch of sparkle. And, with that being said friends, I hope that you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this beautiful “Friendship” folk inspiration card.
