Happy Release Day Crafters! Today, Pinkfresh Studio is celebrating their May-2021 Essentials Release with a fabulous blog hop. So therefore, if you’re hopping along with us, welcome as you should have arrived here from Vicky’s Blog but, if this is your starting point, I’d like to invite you to start from → Pinkfresh ‘Blog or by clicking the direct link provided below which will take you directly to the full list for this wonderful hop.
With that being said, today I’d like to start by sharing with you this “Stitched Scalloped” square inspiration card made using the just released Stitched Scallop Square Die Set along with Love You the Most Die Set and Curvy Leaves Die Set So, without further ado let me share all details with you ↓
Therefore, I started by lining up over a large piece of white cardstock the largest die from Stitched Scallop Square Die Set and then, I went ahead to run them through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine. Thus, as soon as I had finished die-cutting the scalloped frame out of the cardstock, I went ahead to adhere it down with double-sided adhesive to a 4-1/4’’ x 4-1/4’’ inches white card base.
This set, it’s perfect to use it as a color block as its stitched die-cutting design cut out right in the middle of the inner and outer die-cutting scalloped frame so, to create the color block design I went ahead to die-cut the frame out of Light and Dark pink color cardstock as well. Having that said, as soon as I had finished die-cutting the colored cardstock. I went ahead to line up the smaller die from the set and I repeated the same steps as I did with the largest die to die-cut the smaller scalloped frame out of dark peach and orange cardstock.
So, as soon as I had finished the die-cutting for all four colors, I went ahead to start the assembling for the card thus to do that, I went ahead to adhere down the largest scalloped frame to the card base using skinny pieces of craft foam adhesive to add a bit of dimension. Next, I went ahead to adhere down the larger inner die-cutting scalloped frame the card base with craft foam adhesive as well. However, I doubled it up this time to raise more dimension.
So, on and so forth, I went ahead to adhere down the smaller outer scalloped frame raising more dimension with pieces of craft foam adhesive. And, last but not least for the smaller frame I decided to convert it to a shaker frame so to do that, I adhered down a piece of acetate to it and then I added fine glitter as the shaker element for the card.
Lastly, after I had finished the card base I went ahead to get the embellishment done for it by gluing down a cluster of curvy leaves on the upper left and lower right corners (as shown in the image above) which, I had previously created using the smaller die from Curvy Leaves Die Set along with translucent vellum and gold cardstock. And, as for the card sentiment, I went ahead to glue down the sentiment which I’ve had previously created out of white cardstock and translucent vellum using Love You the Most Die Set. Then, to finish the card off, I went ahead to glue down here and there some pink jewels from Essentials: Jewel Mix to add a pop of shine! And, with that said, I hope this this “Stitched Scalloped” square inspiration card inspire you to give this set a try!
