So therefore, if you’re hopping along with us, welcome as you should have arrived here from Wanda’s Blog but, if this is your starting point, I’d like to invite you to start from → Pinkfresh ‘Blog or by clicking the direct link provided below which will take you directly to the full list for this wonderful hop.
With that being said, today I’d like to start by sharing with you a floral “Pop-Up” inspiration card made using the just released Beautiful Blooms Stamp Set, Beautiful Blooms Die Set, Beautiful Blooms Layering Stencil Set, and Curvy Foliage Die to create the full bloom look. Along with these beautiful set, I’ve also used Sparkling Diamonds Die to create the pop-up box’s detailed panels. Plus, Small Butterflies Hot Foil Plate and Small Butterflies Die to add the glimmering butterfly touch to it. Lastly, I used PFS- Inks to ink up the flowers and greenery. So, without further ado let me share how I made it ↓
Therefore, I started off by getting the stamping process for the beautiful blooms, so I went ahead to place a large piece of white cardstock inside my MISTI Stamping Tool and then, I went ahead to line over it the two large stamp images including in Beautiful Blooms Stamp Set.
Next, I went ahead to get the stamping process done over the card panel using embossing ink and right after that, I proceeded to get the stamping heat emboss it using gold embossing powder. As soon as, I’ve had finished the heat embossing process, I quickly went ahead to add pop of colors to the flowers and leaves using Beautiful Blooms Layering Stencil Set along with Ballet Slipper Ink, Coral Reef Ink, Grassy Knoll Ink, Olive Ink, and Warm Buff Ink.
While the inking up over the flowers and leaves were soaking into the cardstock, I proceeded to create the pop-up base, so to do that, I went ahead to trim down a panel out of white cardstock with the following measurements: H 2-1/2” x W 8-1/2” inches. Next, I placed the panel over my Scoring Board and then, I’ve got traced it over it lines using my Teflon bone folder on each 1'.0” inch mark. Thus, as soon as I’ve had finished tracing the scoring lines, I’ve gone ahead to fold them over and then I proceeded to close the box by getting adhered with double-sided adhesive the 1/2-inch flap to the other end of the box.
As for the center of the box, I went ahead to trim down four smaller cardstock pieces with the following measurements: H 2.0” x W 3.0” inches. Next, I traced it over each piece some scoring lines at 1/2, 1-1/2, and 2-1/2 inches. Then, I’ve got folded over each of them and adhered to the inside of the box to create little walls to hold the flowers and leaves. Having that said, I went ahead to cut out the flowers and leaves using Beautiful Blooms Die Set and I also cut out some extra greenery from white cardstock using Curvy Foliage Die. Greenery, which I went ahead to add a pop of color using Grassy Knoll Ink. Lastly, I’ve glued down each flower and curvy foliage inside the box (as shown in the image above) to create the fuller blooming look.
Finally, after getting the fuller blooming look and pop effect completed. I went ahead to use Sparkling Diamonds Die to add the smaller detailed panels around the pop-up box + Small Butterflies Hot Foil Plate and Small Butterflies Die to add the glimmering butterfly. Also, I used one of the card sentiments including in the stamp set to add the sentiment to the pop-up box. And, with that being said friends, I hope this fun-floral “Pop-Up” inspiration card inspire you to give these sets a try!
