With that being said, today I’d like to start by sharing with you a set of extra glimmering “Holiday” handmade inspiration cards made using the just released Poinsettia Washi, Poinsettia Washi Die, Poinsettia Stamp Set, Poinsettia Washi Stencil Set, Diamond Hot Foil Plate, Perfect Sentiments: Holiday Stamp Set, Perfect Sentiments: Holiday Die and Perfect Sentiments: Holiday Hot Foil Plate. Along with them I’m also using Curvy Leaves Die Set to add a subtle leafy dimension. Fancy Oval Frame Die to create the oval wreath. Ornate Floral Die to add a white-on-white texture to one of the card background. Plus, Metallic Pearls -Gold to embellish the cards up. So, without further ado let me share how-to-make them ↓

Therefore, I started off by doing the hot foil stamping for the card panel using a large piece of white cardstock along with Diamond Hot Foil Plate and a large piece of Glimmer Hot Foil Roll - Polished Brass in conjunction of my Glimmer Hot Foil System Platform and Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine.

Thus, as soon as I had finished the hot foil stamping over the card panel, I went ahead to trim off the edges from it a bit smaller than the card base using my Comfort Paper Trimmer. And, once I had that step done, I proceeded to mount the backing of it to an A2 top folding white card base using craft foam and double-sided adhesive to add a bit of dimension to it. Then, right after that, I went ahead to glue down the stacked fancy oval frame which I’ve had created previously out of pieces of white cardstock and Oval Frame Die.

Next, went ahead to create 2 small clusters using some poinsettia die-cutting pieces which I created using the newest Poinsettia Washi Die and Poinsettia Washi Die. This step was definitely the easiest as all I did was to unroll, tape down the washi over a large piece of white cardstock and die-cut with the washi coordinating die in the same way as I’ve done it with all Pinkfresh Studio Washi-tape Rolls.

So, to add a fuller look to the poinsettia clusters, yet elegant and subtle finish still, I went ahead to add some translucent leaves which I’ve had die-cut out of translucent vellum using Curvy Leaves Die Set.

Last but not least, to finish the card off, I went ahead to mount a sturdy hot foil stamped sentiment right in the center of the oval wreath, which I created using white cardstock along with Perfect Sentiments: Holiday Die and Perfect Sentiments: Holiday Hot Foil Plate. By the way, this set also has Perfect Sentiments: Holiday Stamp Set in case you are not yet into hot foil stamping.

To make the second example, I used as the focal point of the card the beautiful poinsettia wreath which is including in the washi as well. Therefore, to add the textured white-on-white background for the card, I used Ornate Floral Die which I thought that coordinates perfectly with the pointy design from the poinsettias. Also, I used one of the sentiments from Poinsettia Stamp Set, as for the sentiment, I had gotten it stamped, heat emboss and fussy cut out from a piece of white cardstock. Then, to add even more dimension, I mounted over the poinsettia wreath a few more die-cutting poinsettia clusters and some translucent die-cutting leaves.

Finally, after getting the assembling for both cards, I went ahead to embellish one of the cards by gluing down some Metallic Pearls -Gold.
