Pinkfresh Studio December 2022 Stamp, Die, Stencil, and Hot Foil Release ▏ Blog Hop

Happy Release Day Crafters! Today, Pinkfresh Studio is celebrating its December 2022 Stamp, Die, Stencil & Hot Foil Release with a fabulous blog hop. So, therefore, if you’re hopping along with us, welcome as you should have arrived here from TaeEun’s Blog but, if this is your starting point, I’d like to invite you to start from the → Pinkfresh ‘Blog or by clicking the direct link provided below which will take you directly to the full list for this wonderful blog hop.

With that being said, today I’d like to share with you a dainty card inspiration with a “Leafy and Glimmering” look showcasing: the just-released Detailed Leaf Hot Foil, Detailed Leaf Stencil, Detailed Leaf Die, and Detailed Leaf Stamp. Besides using this coordinating set, I have also used Nested Rectangles Hot Foil and Nested Rectangles Die to add the hot foil touch to the rectangular card sentiment. Also, Elongated Lattice Coverplate Die to add the intricately textured background to the card Glitter Drops: Champagne to add an extra sparkle touch, and lastly PFS- Inks to add the pops of colors to the detailed leaf. So, without further ado let me share how I made it ↓

Therefore, for the hot foil stamping step, I went ahead to use the Detailed Leaf Hot Foil plate along with the Glimmer Hot Foil System Platform and Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine plus, a large piece of cardstock and a large piece of satin champagne foil; foil which is included in Glimmer Hot Foil 4 Rolls - Satin Metallics Variety Pack. So, I got the hot foil stamping done over the large piece of white cardstock, and to continue with the hot foil stamping process, I used the smaller hot foil plate included in Nested Rectangles Hot Foil to get it hot foil stamped over a smaller piece of white cardstock using, the same foil hue that I used for the detailed leaf.

Next, right after getting the hot foil stamping process finished, I went ahead to add the pops of color to the detailed leaf using the coordinating stencils along with the following ink hues: Warm Buff Ink, Ballet Slipper Ink, Fresh Pear Ink, and Olive Ink. Soon after I finished adding the pops of colors to it, I went ahead to use its coordinating die to cut out the leaf from the cardstock. Then, to add dimension, I used once again the leaf die to die-cut out another leaf but this time from white craft foam. Lastly, after adding the dimension to the leaf, I went ahead to put it aside to continue with the die-cutting for the card background, so to do that, I used white cardstock along with the die-cut machine and the Elongated Lattice Coverplate Die.

Moving on, I went ahead to get the backing of the detailed and textured die-cutting card background glued down to an A2 size top folding white card base. Next, I got the detailed and dimensional leaf mounted over the card background in a way that you can see in the image above. Finally, I went ahead to get one of the card sentiments stamped and heat embossed inside the hot foil stamped rectangular frame, and the I after getting that done, I used one of the dies included in Nested Rectangles Die to cut out the frame from the cardstock. Afterward, I got the card sentiment mounted over the lower right corner of the card, and then I proceeded to add the extra touch of sparkle to the card by gluing down here and there some of the Glitter Drops: Champagne.

To finish the card off, I went ahead to get a second sentiment stamped but this time inside the card. And, with that being said friends, I hope this dainty card inspiration with a “Leafy and Glimmering” look inspires you to give these sets a try!
