Hello September, Glittery Planner Dashboard
Happy Thursday crafty friends! Today’s blog is a little different from my usual posts as, today I‘d like to share with you how I’ve used the just released Kelly Alpha Upper Case Die & Kelly Alpha Lower Case Die sets by Pinkfresh Studio to create my monthly planner dashboard.
So, without further ado let’s jump into this blog post ↓
To begin with let me start by explaining to you that, although for today’s example, I used this design for my planner dashboard, this layout or design could be use as well as a simple Hello greeting card without the SEP or, it can be changed by just adding a sub-sentiment in replacement of the SEP. Possibilities are endless!
So…first of all, I started by using one of the dotted pages from my planner. Next, I unroll one of the Painted Florals Washi Tape designs and I adhered the backing to an A2 white card panel. Then, I ran the card panel through the die-cutting machine along with the Floral Cluster Die to die-cut the floral cluster out of the card panel. In the meantime, I also ran through the die-cutting machine the letters from both Kelly Alpha Upper Case Die & Kelly Alpha Lower Case Die to die-cut the letters 2X one out of leftover pieces from the Just a Little Lovely 6X6 Paper that I had on my stash, and the second time out of White Craft Foam because, I wanted to make dimensional letters. Once the die-cutting part was done, I stacked the letters by adhering them together with liquid glue and, soon after that, I decided to dip the bottom of each letter into WOW! Fool's Gold embossing powder to add a touch of sparkle. To do that, I inked it up the bottom part of each letter with my Embossing Ink Pad I wasn’t really careful doing this step as I wanted a little distress appearance once, I heat embossing them with the Heat Embossing Gun Tool. Right after when the heat embossing part was done, I adhered the backing of the floral cluster on the upper side of the page, and soon after that I adhered the backing of each letter on the lower side as you can see in the picture above. Lastly, if you see closer on the first picture above. You’ll see that, this letter dies create shapes. Isn’t that cool!?? so, guess what from the lower case e, l and, o I saved those tiny shapes that look like hearts to me and, I used them to embellish the the page by adhering the here and there as you can see in the pictures. Finally, to finish my monthly dashboard, I added a few Jewels Mix & Glossy Accent to each of the tiny little hearts for an extra touch of sparkle because…why not!
With that being said friends, that’s all I have for today. I hope this planner dashboard inspired you to give this design and, these alpha die sets by Pinkfresh Studio a try!
