Heart and Soul Encouraging Words┃Inspiration Card

Heart and Soul Encouraging Words┃Inspiration Card

Happy Saturday, Fiends! I hope you’re doing well, today I’d like to share with you this “Heart and Soul Encouraging Words” water-colored floral card that I’ve created with stamps and die set by Pinkfresh Studio. So, without further ado let’s jump to the step by step on how to make it ↓

To begin with, I started by placing inside of my stamping tool a Strathmore 400 Series Watercolor card panel then, I prepped the card panel with Embossing Powder Tool because, I’ve got stampeded the floral cluster image from the Floral Cluster Stamp Set with WOW! Embossing Ink. So, after I’ve got the stamping done, I white heat embossed the stamping image with WOW! Opaque Bright White.

Right after I had the heat embossing process done, I placed the card panel over my Mini Media Mat and I made a quick water-coloring with Pink, Yellow and Green hues.

Once, I’d the water-coloring done I set the card panel aside and I started to create the Tiled card panel background. So, to do that I ran through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine the fifth-to-last Hexagon Frame die from the Basic Label Frames Die Set to die-cut it (20) times out of white cardstock.

Moving on, after I was done die-cutting the white hexagons, I covered up with double-sided tape an A2 size white card panel, so after I peeled off the backing of the double-sided tape reveling the adhesive, I started to create the pattern (as shown above) with each of the white hexagon die-cutting pieces. Soon after I done creating the pattern, I trimmed down the edges of the card panel and I adhered it down with double-sided tape to an A2 size top folding Kraft card base. Lastly, I ran though the die-cutting machine the watercolor card panel along with the Floral Cluster Die. So, as soon as I was done die-cutting the cluster out of the card panel, I mounted the cluster to the card with foam mounting tape to add dimension.

Finally, to finish the card off, I mounted with foam mounting tape a sentiment which I had previously gold heat emboss and die-cut out of white cardstock using one of the Oblong frames. (By the way this frame is also from the same set and the sentiment is from the Heart and Soul Stamp Set) As a finishing touch, I covered the flowers with Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Pen and I added Glossy Accent to the center of the Bright Pink flowers. Then, I glued down with liquid glue here and there some of the Heaven Sent Sequin Mix to add an extra sparkly look. With that being said, I hope that you’ve enjoyed learning about how, I’ve created this “Heart and Soul Encouraging Words” water-colored floral card using stamps and die set by Pinkfresh Studio.
