Happy Friday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you this clean and simple yet very textured “Floral” inspiration card made it using Floral Print Circle Layered Stencil Set along with it, I also used Diamond Plaid Stencil Set, Essentials: Stitched Squares Die Set and Inks by Pinkfresh Studio. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it ↓
To begin with, I started by lining up over an A2 standard size white card panel the Stencil #1 from Floral Print Circle Layered Stencil Set and then, I used an ink blending brush to get the small flowers ink up with Peach Fuzz Ink. Next, after I’ve gotten them ink up, I went ahead to layered over the Stencil #2 and I went ahead to ink up the detailed layer for the small flowers with Apricot Ink. So, on and so forth, I went ahead to line up over the card panel the Stencil #3 and I’ve gotten the large flowers ink up with Ballet Slipper Ink.
To keep going with the ink layering, I went ahead to line up the Stencil #4 to get the leaves ink up with Fresh Pear Ink. And, last but not least, I went ahead to layer over the Stencil #5 to carefully ink up the stems for the flowers using Grassy Knoll Ink, as well as the detailed layer for the large flowers which I inked up with Sparkling Rose Ink. Thus, after having the whole floral print circle ink up, I went ahead to add a little glimmering touch to the detailed layer but only for the flowers so, to do that I used a small crafting spatula and Nuvo - Glimmer Paste.
Therefore, after having the last step done for the floral print circle, I went ahead to set it off aside while I added texture to a square white card panel which, I had previously die-cut out of white cardstock using the large die from Essentials: Stitched Squares Die Set. That said, to add texture, I followed the instructions from my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine to dry embossing both stencils from Diamond Plaid Stencil Set over the square card panel. So, as soon as I finished adding the texture to the card panel, I went ahead to adhere the backing of it to a 4-1/4’’ x 4-1/4’’ square white card base with double-sided tape. Lastly, I went back to the inked floral print circle to fussy cut it out from the card panel using a small pair of scissors. Once, I had that done, I went ahead to mount it over the card with craft foam tape to add dimension.
Finally, to finish the card off, I went ahead to mount a layered sentiment which I had previously stamp and gold heat embossing over a piece of white cardstock. Then, as finishing touches, I went ahead to glue down around the flowers and leaves some clear crystal from Essentials: Crystal Mix. By the way, the sentiment is from Heart and Soul Stamp Set. And, with that being said friends, I hope that you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this clean and simple yet very textured “Floral” inspiration card.
