Happy Saturday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you a “Thank You” inspiration card made using Daisy Wreath Layered Stencil Set and Daisy Wreath Die. Along with them, I also used Mirrored Triangles Stencil, Slim Stripes Die Set, Essentials: Classic words Die Set and Inks by Pinkfresh Studio. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it ↓
To begin with, I started inking up the beautiful Daisy Wreath so therefore, to do that I went ahead to line up over an A2 standard size white card panel the Stencil #1 from Daisy Wreath Layered Stencil Set and then, I went ahead to ink up the leaves using an ink blending brush and Mint Ink. Once, I had that step done, I went ahead to lined up over the card panel the Stencil #2 to ink up the large solid image for the Daisies with Peach Fuzz Ink.
Moving on, as soon as I’ve had finished ink blending them, I went ahead to line up the Stencil #3 over the card panel and then, I went ahead to ink up the detailed image for the Daisies with Apricot Ink. To keep it simple, I used the same Apricot color Ink to ink up their centers over the Stencil #4. Thus, after I’ve gotten the ink blending done, I’ve gone ahead to line up over the Stencil #5 from the set and I went ahead to ink up the detailed image for the leaves and wreath with Olive Ink.
Therefore, after I had finished the ink blending the whole wreath, I kept the stencil onto place to trace the rounded lines from the wreath with an embossing pen, as I wanted to add a heat embossing texture them using gold embossing powder. So, after I had that step done, I went ahead to line up over the ink blended wreath its coordinating die which happens to be Daisy Wreath Die and then, I ran them through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine to die-cut it out from the card panel. That said, as soon as I had finished die-cutting it out, I went ahead to set it off aside while I got the ink blending done for the card background.
As for the card background, I lined up over an A2 standard size white card panel the Mirrored Triangles Stencil and then I went ahead to ink it up the triangles over the stencil using Ocean Breeze Ink with a heavy pressure. Next, I turned the stencil over the card panel and then, I went ahead to ink up the second half of them using the leftover ink on my ink blending brush for an ombre effect. Lastly, right after I had finished ink blending the card background, I went ahead to trim off the edges of it to H 5-1/2’’ x W 3-3/4’’ inches. Then, I adhered to the backing of it with double-sided tape 2 gold strips which I had previously die-cut out of gold cardstock using one of the dies from Slim Stripes Die Set.
Therefore, as soon as I had that step done, I went ahead to adhere the card panel to an A2 top folding white card base with double-sided tape and then, I went head to mount the wreath over it using foam square adhesives to add dimension to it. Last but not least, I went ahead to mount in the center of the wreath the die-cutting and layered Thank You word which, I had previously die-cut out of white and gold cardstock using one of the word dies from Essentials: Classic words Die Set. With that being said friends, I hope that you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this “Thank You” inspiration card.
