Happy Thursday, Friends! On today’s blog, I will be sharing with you a delicate and airy set of inspiration card made with a “Floral Wreath” look using: Enchanting Flora Washi and Enchanting Flora Die from the latest October-2022 Washi Release by Pinkfresh Studio. Along with this set, I’ve also used Essentials: Folk Edge Rectangles Die Set and Essentials: Folk Edge Square Die Set to create the detailed frames and lastly, Glitter Drops: Leaf to add a pop of sparkle to each card from this set. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it ↓
Therefore, I started off by unrolling the Enchanting Flora Washi and tape it down over a large piece of white cardstock by the way, I repeated this step 3 times to have enough floral images to make all 3 cards. Then, I used its one piece coordinating Enchanting Flora Die along with my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine to cut the floral images out of each piece of white cardstock piece just as, I have done it before with all Pinkfresh Studio Washi-tape Rolls.
Thus, after getting the die-cutting step completed, I proceeded to put each floral images aside and then, I used the two larger dies including in Essentials: Folk Edge Square Die Set to cut them out from white cardstock adding the detailed edge to the largest frame and, cutting out the second solid frame. Having that said, after finishing cutting both panels from white cardstock, I went ahead to get mounted the smaller white card panel over the detailed panel using craft foam adhesive to add dimension. Next, to create the focal point, I proceeded to get the half wreath mounted over the solid card panel using pieces of paper springs to add extra dimension but still being able to fit it in its envelope. Lastly, I went ahead to get the backing of the square card panel using double-sided adhesive to a square 4-1/4 x 4-1/4 inches top folding white card base and then, after getting it adhered, I proceeded to finish the card off by mounting the card sentiment with another paper spring to level it up with the floral wreath image. As for the card sentiment I had gotten it previously stamped and gold heat emboss it over a strip of white cardstock. By the way, I also want to mention that the card sentiment is one of the sentiment stamp images including in Enchanting Flora Stamp.
Moving on, for the second example, I went ahead to repeat the same steps as the previous example to create the detailed frame and solid frame however, this time I used the dies including in Essentials: Folk Edge Rectangles Die Set to create an A2 standard size card. So, after getting the layering for the white card panels, I went ahead to get them adhered with double-sided adhesive to an A2 size top folding white card base. And then, I proceeded to create the focal point over the card using one of the half wreath images along with some of the individual floral images.
So, to create the full wreath over the card, I went ahead to get gluing down the half wreath and then, I use one of the individual floral images (the green) to be exact to get it mounted on the upper right side of the half wreath with a piece of craft foam adhesive to add dimension then, from there I proceeded to get the rest of the individual floral images gluing down from the mounted floral images going around to the left completing that way the full wreath. By getting them glue down that way, I created dimension on the right side of the wreath so, to level that dimension up on the left side of it, I went ahead to finish the card off by getting the card sentiment mounted over the left side using two small paper springs. By the way, this sentiment is also including in the stamp set but does not have a coordinating die so, I used my Precision Tip Scissors to fussy cut out the sentiment from the cardstock after getting it stamped and heat emboss it.
Therefore, after getting the second card finish off, I went ahead to put it off aside next to the first example and then, I proceeded to complete the last example from this set. So, to add the detailed edge to the card panel, I went ahead to use the medium size die including in the same set that I used in the second example and once, I had the card panel cut out from white cardstock, I proceeded to get the backing of it mounted with craft foam adhesive over an A2 size top folding white card base.
Then, after getting the card panel mounted over the card base, I went ahead to get the half wreath gluing down over it. Followed by that, I used the rest of the individual floral images to add dimension to the crescent wreath. So, to do that, I went ahead to get the first floral image glue down at the bottom end from the wreath and then from there, I went all the way up gluing the rest of the floral images following the wreath shape but not getting them gluing down all the way around.
In the image above, you will see a better view of the dimension created on 1/3 of this crescent wreath. So, after getting the crescent wreath finished, I went ahead to get the card finish off by adding the card sentiment; a card sentiment which is also including in the stamp set and this does have a coordinating die. Last but not least, to finish the card set off, I went ahead to use Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue along with my Jewels Picker to glue down here and there some of the new Glitter Drops: Leaf adding that way an extra touch of sparkle to each card.
