Delicate Wreath Greeting Cards
Happy Saturday, crafters! Today, I’m back joining the Pinkfresh Studio team to promote once again the Designer Picks for a Purpose during this weekend 9/6 - 9/8 In case you missed my blog post yesterday, let me explain you what’s this post about. As, all the devastation that, Hurricane Dorian is causing, Pinkfresh Studio have decided that, all net profits made from this weekend sales will go towards Hurricane Relief. All in All 100%, how generous and awesome is that!?? My contribution and yours combined is important as we together can help those affected by this powerful hurricane. You might be asking yourself; how can you help? Well, you can help by purchasing one, two, three or as many items from their wonderful selection of Stamps, Metal Dies, Embellishments, Watercolors, Scrapbook Collections, Essentials, Washitapes, etc. So, for today’s examples, I’ve picked this beautiful Flower Garden Stamp Set along with the Delicate Wreath Stamp & Delicate Wreath Die Sets. ↓
To begin with, I started by prepping two white card panel with the Embossing Powder Tool. Then, I white heat embossing them by stamping with Embossing Ink the Flower Garden background stamp. Once the heat embossing was set it, I trimmed the card panel slightly smaller than a standard A2 size card and, I set them aside. In the meantime, I stamped twice the wreath from the Delicate Wreath Stamp in a piece of white card stock with Moonlight Fog Ink. Right after the stamping, I ran through the die-cutting machine the stamped images and the Delicate Wreath Die Set to die cut the wreath from the white card stock. I also created another die-cutting piece by running through the die-cutting machine the wreath dies and craft foam because, I wanted to add dimension to the wreath.
Next, I began the layout for both cards. So, for the first card, I adhered the backing of one of the white heat embossed card panels with double-sided tape to a top folding Kraft card base. Then, I stamped and gold heat embossed a sentiment inside the wreath (this sentiment is included in the Delicate Wreath Stamp) Once, I was done heat setting the sentiment, I layered the wreath on top of the craft foam and, I adhered both layered pieces to the card with liquid glue. Lastly, I tided and adhered on one of the sides of the wreath a bow. For that, I used a piece of Natural Burlap String and to finish the card off, I adhered some Essentials Crystals Mix here and the for a touch of sparkle.
As you can see, for the second example, I decided to die-cut the center of the wreath by using the inside die included in the set. So, for this layout, I adhered the second white heat embossed card panel with foam mounting tape to a top folding Kraft card base. Then, I adhered the backing of the wreath to the card with liquid glue tape and, I adhered a bow the same way as, I did it for the first example.
As for the sentiment, I stamped with embossing ink two sentiment that complimented each other and, I gold heat embossed them in a piece of white card stock. Once the heat embossing was done, I fussy cut the sentiment out of the card stock and, I adhered the backing of it in the center of the wreath with skinny pieces of foam mounting tape to add dimension to it. Finally, to finish the card off, I adhered once again some Essentials Crystals Mix to balance the sparkly look on both cards.
Well dear crafters, that’s all from me today! I hope these cards inspire you to give these designs a try! As well as, I hope you take some time during the day to check all amazing Stamps, Metal Dies, Embellishments, Watercolors, Scrapbook Collections, Essentials, and Washitapes from the selection.
