Happy Thursday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you a cute set of holiday gift card holder ideas made with a delicate “Non-Traditional” look showcasing some of the new Color Crush hues plus, a few dies and stamps by The Stamp Market. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step on how I made them ↓
Therefore, to create the larger gift card holder/bag, I went ahead to cut out a piece of cardstock at H 11.0 x 4-3/4 inches using a paper trimmer. Next, I went ahead to place the cardstock pieces over my Scor-Pal with the larger side vertically, and then I proceeded to use my Craft Treat Teflon Bone Folder pencil to trace over it some scoring lines at 1/4 and 4-1/2 inches. Soon after that, I had them traced over the piece of cardstock, I went ahead to rotate horizontally the cardstock piece to trace over another scoring line at 5-1/2 inches.
Thus, as soon as, I had finished adding the scoring lines to it, I proceeded to fold the sides inwards, and then I used the single die including in Gift Bag & Tags Dies to add the detailed paper bag top and holder to both side of the large cardstock, keeping in mind to line up the dies in an exact way to for a precise die-cutting process. Then, for the gift card bag/holder assembling it was quite simple as all I did was to die-cut the top parts, cut out some notches, and then get the sides glued down with liquid glue. Lastly, for the embellishments, I used Leafy Wreath Die to create the wreath and for the sentiments, I used Nice List Stamp Set along with Nice List Dies. Then, to finish it off, I added a die-cutting bow, and to create it I used Bitty Bow Die along with one of the patterned paper sheets from Home For The Holidays 12X12 Paper to coordinate the hues from the Dijon ink. Besides that, I also added Crystal Confetti to add an extra touch of shine to the wreath.
That being said, once I had completed the gift card holder/bag, I went ahead to create the mini envelope for the actual gift card, so to do that, I used the dies included in Envelope Ensemble Dies along with white cardstock and a piece of the same patterned paper that I used to create the bow for the envelope liner. Then, to finish it off, I used the Wax Seal Starter Kit along with the Do Not Open Wax Seal Stamp to create the wax seal for the mini envelope.
Moving on, after getting the gift card holder bag and the gift card envelope completed, I proceeded to set them off to the side, and then I went ahead to use the die included in Gift Bag & Tags Dies to create the mini gift card holder. So, to do that, I used the GumDrop cardstock hue to cut out the mini gift card holder. Next, I went to get it assembled, and then I used the dies 2 more times to cut out another 2 mini gift card holders from Dijon and Blossom cardstock hues. By the way, all cardstock hues are from The Stamp Market.
Thereafter, as soon as, I had finished die cutting and getting assembled the mini gift card holders, I proceeded to get them embellished, and to do that, I used a combination of the following stamps and die sets: Gift For You Stamp to get the sentiments stamped, Sweet Holiday Wishes Stamp and Coordinating Dies to stamp and cut out the candy canes, Nice List Stamp Set and Nice List Dies to stamp and cut out the Santa’s Delivery sentiments plus, Tapered Tags Dies and Bitty Bow Die for the mini tags and bows. Besides that, I used gold cardstock and coordinating ink hues for a cohesive look.
And, with that being said friends, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this set of holiday gift card holder ideas with a delicate “Non-Traditional” look showcasing dies and stamps by The Stamp Market.
