Spellbinders DOML NOV-2022┃Inspiration Card

Happy Wednesday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you a slimline inspiration card made with a “Delicate & Glimmering” look showcasing: NOV-2022 "Stylized Floral Kaleidoscope Slimline" Large Die of the Month Club by Spellbinders. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step on how I made it ↓

Therefore, to create this slimline card first, I went ahead to line up over a large piece of white cardstock the outer and insert die including in the club and secondly, I proceeded to use the Universal Plate System Accessory Bundle to run them thru the Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine to add the details and cut out the front card panel from the white cardstock.

Thus, after getting the die-cutting process done for the front card panel, I proceeded to use the individual dies to cut out the detailed Kaleidoscope inserts from lighter and darker red cardstock plus, light pink cardstock for the top layer.

That being said, once I had completed the die-cutting steps for all die-cutting kaleidoscope inserts, I proceeded to layer them up, and then I got them glued down to the detailed front card panel.

Moving on, after getting them glued down to the front card panel, I proceeded to trim off a slimline solid panel from Mirror Gold Cardstock using my Paper Trimmer, and then I proceeded to get the detailed card panel glued down over it.

Thereafter, as soon as, I had finished layer the detailed card panel over the solid panel, I quickly went ahead to get them mounted over a slimline size white card base using craft foam adhesive to raise dimension. Then, to finish the card off, I went ahead to use the die that die-cut the sentiment strip and that adds up the letterpress effect to cut it out from gold cardstock. So, as soon as, I had finished cutting it out from it, I proceeded to get it mounted in the center of the card, and then, to add a little extra touch of sparkle, I used my Jewels Picker along with Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue to glue down some Gold Smooth Discs Color Essentials Sequins in the right and left centers of each kaleidoscope.

And, with that being said friends, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this slimline inspiration card made with a “Delicate & Glimmering” look showcasing: NOV-2022 "Stylized Floral Kaleidoscope Slimline" Large Die of the Month Club by Spellbinders.
