Birthday Card + Thank You Card

Hello Friends!
I hope you are having a Blessed day. On today’s blog I would like to share with you this Sparkle Birthday card + a bonus Thank You card that I’ve created for my last week as September Creative Guest for WOW Embossing Powder. For my first example, I started by die cutting the Modern Mandela die 3x out of white card stock. Next, I adhered them all with liquid glue. Once they were stacked and dry as one I inked it up with an Embossing Pad Then, I heat embossed it with Metallic Cooper Sparkle embossing glitter.

For the card layering I started by die cutting a Stitched Rectangle out of Navy Card stock and I adhered the backed of it to a white card base. Next, I adhered the embossed Modern Mandela to the card panel. And, I die cut the Big Happy out of the same navy card stock and the outline out of white card stock. Then, I adhered them both on top of the embossed Mandela. Last but not least, I heat embossed with the same Metallic Cooper Sparkle a birthday sentiment in a piece of navy card stock and I adhered the backed of it to a piece of card stock to complete the card.

For my second example, I created a heat embossed background. Which happens to be my favorite technique. I just love the look of heat embossed backgrounds. Do you like them too? Please let me know on the comments down below. So, I started by die cutting the same stitched rectangle out of the same navy card stock. Next, I inked it up the beautiful Deco Diamonds Background Stamp with the embossing pad and I heat embossed it with the same Metallic Copper Sparkle powder. Then, I adhered to a white card base.

This card was very simple to finish as I only die cut the Big Thanks out the navy card stock and the outline out on vellum. Same for the sentiment I gold heat embossed a sentiment from the Big Thanks Words stamp set in another piece of navy card stock and I adhered the backed of it to a piece of vellum. To finish it up I adhered them both to the card.
