Grateful Foil Card

Grateful Foil Cards

Hello, and Welcome to another Blog Post!
I hope you are having a wonderful day. On today’s blog I would love to share with you these beautiful clean and simple foil cards that I've created using the foiling technique for cards. This is my first time trying this technique and yet I have enjoyed it so much. That now I’m planning on creating more in the future. Plus I’m wondering if you have ever tried it and if, yes. Have you liked it? please let me know down below in the comment section. That being said Let’s Get Started!

For today cards I had used the Mini Minc heat foil applicator by Heidi Swapp along with the Fancy Foil Exclusive Autumn Variety Pack included in the October card kit by Simon Says Stamp.

Although, this card kit is sold out. There are million of possibilities on what to create with the beautiful Fancy Foil and the Foil Mates by Gina K Designs as the examples here. Also, I’m sharing how I created my own foil image by using the largest floral images from the Sketched Flowers stamp set and Bonding powder as you can see in one of the cards. Mine didn’t turned perfect as I missed a few spots. But that helped me to realize what to do for the next time. I will say, that applying double bonding powder would work best than just once. Which this is what I will try to do next time.
For all the card layouts I used the same Burnt Orange cardstock for the card panel. The measurements were W4.0 X H5.25 for the orange cardstock. Then, I trimmed down the foiled panel to W3.75 X 5.0 and to finish them up I adhered every single panel to a standard top and side folding A2 size white card bases.

Here are some pictures please use the next and previous controls to see the set of cards that I created with this technique.
