BIRTHDAY CARD
Hello, on today's blog. I am creating a super fun and glittery Birthday card.
Stamping
To begin with, I am featuring the Exclusive One Cool Pineapple stamp set included in the July card kit by Simon Says Stamp. Although, you can purchase the stamp set without ordering the whole kit. I thought, this was a good addition to my stamp collection. Because, I loved those unique and fun sentiments and images.
Card base and background panel
While my stamping was drying out. I scored an A2 top folding size white base.
Card Base
Neenah Classic Crest Solar White
Card Background panel
Simon Says Stamp Island Blue cardstock
Background Die

Then, I die cut my panel using a die cutting machine. At first I thought about using the blue cardstock. But, I ended up heat embossing my panel for a glittery look. That is why you see the blue cardstock in the picture.
Coloring
For the coloring, I did a really quick copic coloring, using blue tones.
Blues B00, B02, B05
Assembling
After coloring, I fussy cut the little fish and the sentiment. I also, fussy cut a piece of Bright Yellow cardstock creating a yellow shadow underneath the blue colored fish. Then, I foam mounted all the edges of the die cutting background. Following, I foam mounted the sentiment and the fish from its yellow shadow creating dimension. Lastly, to finish it up. I added the last two little touches. Glossy accent for the sentiment and the fish, plus a few little jewels for an extra pop of color. Creating a contrast with the yellow shadow underneath the fish.
Your imagination, is your limit.
I hope you get Inspired and give these design a try! Just keep in mind, that you can create the same design with any background die and any color paper of your choice.
Thank You, your time is valuable. Don't forget to spread kindness, Today and Always.
Best,
Yasmin
