Hi, I am so happy to have you back. On today’s blog, I’ll be sharing step-by-step a Birthday card that I’ve created featuring my monthly hero July card kit by Hero Arts.
Every birthday means another 365 new opportunities, enjoy the ride.
Stamping
Step 1
I started with a top fold A2 size white card base (my favorite white card stock for bases is the Neenah 110lb Classic Crest 8.5”X11”) Then, I set that aside while I stamped the images that I was going to use for this design. I also, like (Neenah Classic Crest Super Smooth Solar White 80# for stamping.)
The ink that I use for stamping is the Extreme Black Hybrid Ink Pad by My Favorite Things brand. My main idea was to use one or two images, but I ended up using them all to create the Enjoy the Ride scene with them.
Coloring
Step 2
I proceeded with the coloring, and here are the colors that I used.
Reds R22, R24, R27, R29
Yellows YG00, Y02, Y06
Cool Gray C0, C1, C3, C6
Blue B00
Die Cutting
Step 3
I used all the dies included in the kit to die cut all the images. Please forgive me for not taking a single picture of that specific step. I could have skipped this blog post for the missing picture, but I hope you understand the process of learning and taking pictures at the same time :)
Assembling
Step 4
Once, all the previous steps were followed I proceeded with the assembling processing. It was a little of challenging, between selecting the panel color and where every image was going to be placed. After found their places out. I glued them down using liquid glue for some of them, and foam tape for others creating a little bit of dimension. To finished it up, I adhered the card panel to my card base. Isn't it Simple? I hope you give it a try.
Thank You, your time is valuable. Don’t forget to spread kindness Today and Always
Best,
Yasmin
