Happy Friday, Friends! Today, I’d like to share a “Season’s Greetings” inspiration card that I’ve made for the “OCT-2020 “Sparkles & Shine” challenge theme over WOW! Embossing Powders Facebook Page using WOW! Sparkling Snow and WOW! Metallic Gold Rich. With that being said, I also would like to invite you to come and play along with us for a chance to win a $15.00 or ₤15.00 gift card to WOW! US or WOW! UK online stores. So, without further ado, let’s jump right into the step-by-step on how I made it ↓
To begin with, I started by lining up over a white card panel the Debra Wafer Die. Once, I’ve had them line up, I went ahead to run them through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine following the dry embossing steps. Therefore, after I’ve finished dry embossing the white card panel, I’ve repeated the same step but, this time following the die-cutting steps to die-cut the frame out from Sea Glass Cardstock.
Thus, after I’ve finished dry embossing and die-cutting both panel, I’ve gone ahead to set the Sea Glass color panel aside. Meanwhile, I’ve gone ahead to line up the dried emboss white panel over my glass mat then, I’ve gone ahead to cover it all up with Mod Podge using an old paint brush. So, after I’ve had it all cover with Mod Podge, I’ve gone ahead to sprinkle WOW! Sparkling Snow all over the die-cutting frame.
Moving on, after I’ve had sprinkled the glitter over the die-cutting frame, I’ve gone ahead to let it dry and then, after it was completely dry, I’ve gone ahead to add a second coat of Mod Podge over the glitter to seal it.
Lastly, after the sealing coat was completely dry, I’ve gone ahead to fussy-cut the frame using a sharp pair of scissors, and once I’ve had that step done, I’ve gone ahead to glue down with liquid glue the glittery frame over an A2 side folding white card base. Next, I’ve gone ahead to glue down also with liquid glue the Sea Glass colored frame over the glittery frame.
Finally, after I’ve finished gluing down the frames over the card base, I’ve gone ahead to embellish it by gluing down with liquid glue a leafy die-cutting as well as a gold heated emboss sentiment and piece of metallic gold thread which, I’ve had previously tied in a double bow. By the way, I’ve used the following for all embellishments WOW! Metallic Gold Rich, WOW! Embossing Pad, WOW! Heat Embossing Gun Tool and Embossing Powder Tool along with Clean Line Christmas Stamp & Die Set, Leafy Branch Die and DMC Metallic Thread. As a finishing touch, I’ve also gone ahead to glue down here and there with liquid glue a few jewels to add an extra touch of shine. With that being said friends, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step on how I’ve made this extra sparkly “Season’s Greetings” inspiration card.
