WOW! November-2020 Birthdays Challenge┃HB2U Inspiration Card

Happy Friday, Friends! Today, I’d like to share with you a very sparkly “Birthday” inspiration card that I’ve made for NOV-2020/ “Birthdays” challenge theme over WOW! Embossing Powders Facebook Page using WOW! Trio Toteally Amazing. With that being said, I also would like to invite you to come and play along with us for a chance to win a $15.00 or ₤15.00 gift card to WOW! US or WOW! UK online stores. So, without further ado, let’s jump right into the step-by-step on how I made it ↓

To begin with, I started by placing inside my MISTI Stamping Tool an A2 standard size white card panel. Next, after I’ve had the card panel onto place, I went ahead to line up over it the floral stamp images from Bold Flowers Stamp Set. Therefore, after I’ve had the stamp images in place, I went ahead to start the stamping.

Thus, for the stamping I used the following ink combination; Peach Fuzz Ink, Coral Reef Ink and Ballet Slipper Ink. Therefore, right after that I’ve had finished the stamping using all 3 color inks, I’ve gone ahead to add Embossing Powder Tool to 3 more card panels and then, I’ve gone ahead to stamp them with WOW! Embossing Ink. Thus, after I’ve finished stamping all 3 card panel, I’ve gone ahead to heat embossing each card panel using the embossing powders from WOW! Trio Toteally Amazing and my WOW! Heat Embossing Gun Tool.

Moving on, after I’ve had finished heat setting the embossing powder, I’ve gone ahead to line up the coordinating floral dies from Bold Flowers Die Set and once I had them line up, I’ve gone ahead to run them thru my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine to die-cut the flowers out from each card panel. So, after I’ve finished die-cutting the flowers, I’ve gone ahead to set them off to the side. Meanwhile, I went ahead to line up the Foliage Frame Die over a white card panel and then, I ran them through the die-cutting machine. Lastly, after I’ve had finished die-cutting the frame, I’ve gone ahead to line up over a large piece of white cardstock the letter dies from Lea’s Ornate Uppercase Die Set and the number 2 die from Heather’s Lowercase Die Set. Once, I’ve had them line up, I’ve gone ahead to run them thru my die-cutting machine 3 time each because, I was going to stack them for a dimensional look.

Lastly, after I’ve had finishing die-cutting each letters and number, I’ve gone ahead to stacked each of them and then, I’ve gone ahead to stamp the B and U with Peach Fuzz Ink and Ballet Slipper Ink while I’ve gotten heated emboss the H and the number 2 with 2 of the powders from the trio. At first, I’ve thought about assembling the card over a plain white panel but, I’ve ended up adding a quick ink blending over the card base using Misty Coast Ink and Invert Diamond Slim Stencil for a very subtle background design.

Finally, to assemble the card, I went ahead to glue down the die-cutting frame with liquid glue. Next, I mounted the letters and number over the card (as shown in the image above) with skinny pieces of craft foam tape creating that way the HB2U sentiment. Last but not least, I’ve mounted each die-cutting flower around the frame with dimensional square adhesives to add dimension and, to finish the card off, I’ve gone ahead to glue down here and there with liquid glue a few Pink Moonstone Sequin Mix to add an extra touch of sparkle.
