In order to participate all you need to do is ➝ follow the WOW! Embossing Powder Monthly Challenge theme as an inspiration to create one of the followings for your submissions:

Or any type of paper crafting project/mixed media of your preference that features any WOW! Embossing Powder product of your choice. Submissions must be entering by April 30th at 9PM PST. (Please do not enter more than 3 entries per person) So, without further ado, let’s jump into the step by step on how-to-make this card ↓
To create the Rainbow first, I started by inking up 7 white card panels with WOW! Embossing Ink Pad. Second, I added to each of the card panels the embossing glitters and powders mentioned above. Third, I heat set each of the card panel with my WOW! Heat Embossing Gun Tool, and soon after the heat embossing was done, I set the card panels aside to let cool down a bit before I started the die-cutting process.
Meanwhile, to create the cloudy sky I inked up a Strathmore 300 Series Smooth Bristol Paper card panel using; Cloud Stencil and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide. Right after the cloudy sky was finish off, I placed over the card panel the largest die from the Diagonal Stitched Rectangle Die Set and I ran them through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine.
Then, after I was done creating the stitching detail on the edge of the card panel, I mounted with craft foam and double-sided tape the card panel over an A2 top folding white card base and set it aside.
Moving on, I ran through the die-cutting machine each of each of the strip dies from the Rainbow Stripes Die set along with each of the heat embossed card panel. The die set has 6 strips dies so, to complete the 7 colors, I ran through the die-cutting machine the cute little heart die that’s also included in the set, to complete the 7 color for my rainbow.
Lastly, to finish the die-cutting process off I ran through the die-cutting machine the Sunshine die to die-cut the word 4X out of white cardstock. Once, I had that done I stacked the Sunshine die-cutting words and I set the dimensional word aside.
Finally, to assemble the card I mounted with skinny strips of foam mounting tape each of the heat embossed strips for the Rainbow as well as the heart (as shown above). Then, I glued down with liquid glue the Sunshine dimensional die-cutting word however, as you can see in the image above, I left about 1/2’’ inch space in between because, I wanted to stamp a sentiment that complemented the Sunshine word.
So, to finish the card off I masked the (Sunshine) word from a sentiment that says “You’re a Ray of Sunshine” and I stampeded the rest with Detail Black Ink. As finishing touches, I glued down with liquid glue here and there a few of my most use Crystal Confetti for an extra touch of shine. With that being said, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the step by step on how I’ve created today’s ‘‘You’re a Ray of Sunshine’’ rainbow card.
