WOW! Embossing Powders DEC19 "Gold/Silver" Challenge

Happy Tuesday, Friends! It’s time to share the cards that, I’ve created for the new “Gold/Silver” challenge over at the WOW! Embossing Powders Facebook Page. To play along today, I’ve created these two Glittery Just a Note greeting cards using; WOW! Fairy Tale Embossing Glitter and Metallic Gold Rich Embossing Powder so, with that being said, I’d like to invite you to take part of the challenge as, each challenge winner will receive a $15.00 or ₤15.00 gift card to the WOW! US or WOW! UK online store. Here’s some information in case, you’re interested in participating and share your projects/cards or any project of your choice with us.
In order to participate all you need to do is ➝ follow the WOW! Embossing Powder Monthly Challenge theme as an inspiration to create one of the followings for your submissions:
— Card
— Scrapbook Layout
— Tag
Or any type of paper crafting project/mixed media of your preference that features a WOW! products. Submissions must be entering by December 31st at 9PM PST. (Please do not enter more than 3 entries per person) Without further ado, please keep on reading below ↓

To begin with, I started by placing the Flower Power Background Stamp over a stamping tool then, I stamped the image from the background stamp with Blush Ink over a standard size white card panel. As soon as, I was done stamping the background, I removed the card panel from the stamping tool and, I quickly added WOW! Clear Gloss Embossing Powder over the stamping to clear emboss it for a shiny look. Once, the powder was melted, I trimmed the edges of it slightly smaller than the card base and, I adhered the backing with double-sided tape to a top folding white card base.

After adhering the card panel to the card base, I set the it aside meanwhile, I ran through the die-cutting machine the Just a Note Die to die-cut it out from heavy weight white card stock 2X as well as 2X out of fun foam. Once the die-cuttings were done, I adhered each of the whites to the fun foam and, I glitter embossed one of them with WOW! Fairy Tale Embossing Glitter. Lastly, after the glitter embossing, I adhered the backing of the letters with liquid glue to the card base and, to finish the card off, I gold heat embossed on a piece of white card stock a sentiment from the Just a Note Stamp with Metallic Gold Rich Embossing Powder which, I trimmed and adhered with foam mounting tape afterwards to the bottom part of the card as shown above.

For the second example, I gold heat embossed the background image over Blush Card Stock as you can see in the picture above. As for the card base, I trimmed the edges as usual for that white frame and, I adhered the backing of the card panel with double-sided tape to a top folding white card base. And… instead of glitter embossing the whole letters, I decided to just dip the bottom part of them into the same WOW! Fairy Tale Embossing Glitter that, I used for the previous example. Lastly, I adhered the large sentiment with liquid glue to the card base and, to finish the card off, I gold heat embossed on a piece of white card stock the same sentiment which, I trimmed and adhered with foam tape afterwards to the bottom part of the card.

Finally, to finish both cards off, I adhered here and there some of the Shimmering Iced Fusion Sequins for a touch of sparkle!
