Happy Christmas Greeting Cards

Happy Christmas Greeting Cards

Happy, Friday Friends! On today’s blog post, I’d love to share with you the set of Christmas greeting cards that, I’ve made using; stamp sets by Simon Says Stamp and, a die set from Pinkfresh Studio so, without further ado, please keep on reading this below post. ↓

To begin with, I started cutting the card panels out of Barely There Card Stock. Next, I treated one of the card panels with the Embossing Powder Tool and, I stamped over it with Embossing Ink the Christmas Sweater Background Stamp. Once, that I had a crisp stamping, I added Opaque Bright White Embossing Powder to the background and, I heat set it with the Heat Embossing Gun Tool until the powder was melted. Right after the heat embossing, I trimmed the edges of the card panel off and, I adhered the backing of it with foam mounting tape to an A2 top folding white card base. As for he sentiment, I ran through the die-cutting machine the Happy Christmas Shadow Wafer Die Set to die-cut the shadow layer out of vellum and the top layer out of gold card stock. Lastly, after the die-cutting part, I stacked both layers and I adhered the backing of them with liquid glue to the card. To finish the card off, I gold heat embossed a sub-sentiment with Metallic Gold Rich Embossing Powder on a piece of white card stock a sentiment from the Holiday Greetings Mix 1 Stamp Set which, I trimmed off and adhered to a piece of vellum then to the card with foam mounting tape to add dimension as shown in the picture above.

For the second example, I repeated the same steps to white heat emboss the card panel. However, I used the Mod Trees Background Stamp. Next, I gold heat embossed on a piece of Translucent Vellum the largest sentiment from the Holiday Greetings Mix 1 Stamp Set so, after the heat embossing; I trimmed off the vellum edges W 2 3/4’’ X H 6.0’’ Right after, I folded and adhered the top and bottom parts of the vellum with strong adhesive to the back of the card panel. Lastly but not least, I adhered the backing of the card panel with foam mounting tape to an A2 top folding white card base as, you can see in the picture above.

At this point, I thought that I was done by making two cards but, I decided to create a third card because, I wanted to share with you how cute the white trees look without covering them with a large sentiment as the previous example. So, I stamped, white heat embossed and adhered the card panel to an A2 top folding white card base in the same way as I did for the previous example. But, before I adhered the card panel to the card base, I decided to wrap a few time a big piece of Metallic Embroidered Thread which, I finished with a bow as, you can see in the picture above. To finish the card off, I ran through the die-cutting machine one of the Classic Holiday Words Die Set to die-cut the top layer out of gold card stock and the shadow layer out of translucent vellum which, right afterwards I stacked and adhered with liquid glue to the card as, shown above.

You know, I won’t finish a card without adding a touch of sparkle so, I adhered here and there a few crystals and sequins from the Heaven Sent Sparkly Mix. With that being said, that’s all for today friends, I hope these Christmas Cards inspire you to give them a try! As always, I appreciate the time you take to read my blog posts.
