Waffle Flower Hope Scalloped┃Inspiration Card

Happy Monday, Friends! Today, I’d like to share with you a clean and simple “Sympathy” scalloped shaped card made using Waffle Flower’s Lacy Circles Die and Oversized Hope Combo from their February 2021 -Hope Release. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it ↓

Therefore, to make this card I started by creating its base so, to do that I lined up over a large piece of white cardstock the largest die from Lacy Circles Die set and then, I went ahead to run them thru my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine. Next, I repeated the same step to get a second die-cutting circle out of white cardstock as well. And, once I had the top and bottom die-cutting white circles, I went ahead to place one of them over my scoring board tool and I marked a scoring line at 1/4’’ of an inch mark which soon after I folded it over and I added piece of double-sided tape to get both get the bottom and top adhered together.

Thus, right after that I’ve got the card base adhered, I went ahead to set it off aside to continue with the die-cutting layers for it. That said, I went ahead to line up over a large piece of white cardstock the largest lacy die and the second-to-last stitched die from the set. Then, I ran them thru my the die-cutting machine and once, I’ve got that step done, I went ahead to layer one on top of the other by gluing down the stitched white die-cutting circle over the lacy die-cutting circle and then, I mounted them over the card base with craft foam tape to add a bit of dimension.

Moving on, right after that I’ve gotten the layering for the card base, I went ahead to set it off aside while I started the die-cutting for the cluster leaves. Therefore, for the cluster leaves, I went ahead to line up over a few different color cardstock some of the leaves dies from Spring Leaves Die set and once I had that done, I went ahead to run them thru the die-cutting machine. This set also includes the outer line for the leaves so, I went ahead to die-cut them out of gold cardstock.

Nevertheless, as soon as I had finished die-cutting each layer for the leaves, I went ahead to create the cluster leaves and then, I’ve got it glue down over the left side of the card (as you can see in the image above.) Lastly, I went ahead to die-cut the large Hope word a few times out of white and gold cardstock and once I had that done, I went ahead to get one of the white die-cutting words stamped with Sea Glass Ink which soon afterwards, I’ve gotten it layer over the other die-cutting words and mounted over the card base with tiny pieces of foam mounting tape to add a bit of dimension.
NOTE: The Hope die and Hope stamp are part of the Oversized Hope Combo.

To finish the card off, I went ahead to mount a sentiment as well which I had previously stamp and gold heat embossing over a strip of white cardstock using one of the sentiments from the stamp set. Last but not least, I went ahead to get it embellished by adding a piece of metallic gold thread and a few jewels from Essentials: Jewel Mix adding that way a touch of shine!
