The Gray Muse Summer/Fall 2020 Stamp Collection┃Blog Hop

Happy Thursday, crafty friends! And, welcome to the Gray Muse Summer/Fall 2020 Stamp Collection blog hop if, you’re already hoping along with us… you should be arriving here from Alex Syberia ‘blog but, in case this is your starting point make sure to start from → The Gray Muse. So, with that said let’s jump right into the step by step on how I’ve made this card using the beautiful Lovely Lotus Stamp set.

To begin with, I started by placing inside my MISTI Stamping Tool a Strathmore Watercolor Panel. Then, right after that I lined up over it the floral image from the Lovely Lotus Stamp set, and once I’ve had them lined up, I went ahead to get the image stamped twice with No Line Ink for a no-line water-coloring look.

Therefore, after I’ve had the stamping done, I’ve gone ahead to tape down the watercolor panel over my Make Art Mini Stay-Tion All-in-One Magnetic Surface, and once I’ve had it into place, I’ve gone ahead to get the stamped images water-colored using a mix of Pink, Orange, Yellow and Green hues which, I’ve had previously mixed in my mixing palette.

Thus, after I’ve had the water-coloring done for the flowers and leaves, I’ve gone ahead to set the card panel aside to let it dry. Meanwhile, I’ve gone ahead to add texture to an A2 size white watercolor panel using my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine and Lumber Embossing Folder. So, after I’ve had that done, I’ve gone ahead to add a quick pop of watercolor to the card panel using Turquoise/Teal and Gold hues.

Moving along, after I’ve had finish the water-coloring on the card panel and it was completely dry, I’ve gone ahead to trim the edges down and right after that, I went ahead to get it adhered with double-sided tape to an A2 top folding white card base.

Lastly, after I’ve had finish adhering the card panel to the card base, I’ve used a pair of small scissor to fussy cut the floral cluster out of the card panel then, soon after I’ve had them cut out of the card panel, I’ve gone ahead to mount them with craft foam tape to the card (as shown in the image above) to add dimension. Finally, to finish the card off, I’ve gone ahead to mount a sentiment on the lower left side of the card with craft foam tap which, I’ve had previously gold heat embossed on a strip of water-colored cardstock using one of the sentiments from the stamp set and gold embossing powder. Last but certainly not least, as a finishing touch I glued down here and there with liquid glue Crystal Confetti adding that way a little bling bling.

With that being said, I hope you have enjoyed reading the step by step on how I’ve created this “Floral” card using one of the stamp sets by The Gray Muse.
