Technique Tuesday NOV19 Royal Jasmine Stamp Greeting Cards

Happy Saturday, Crafters! On today’s blog, I’ll be sharing with you how, I’ve made these two quick and easy Friendship cards featuring the new; Royal Jasmine Stamp & Royal Jasmine Crafting Dies sets from the new November’s Greenhouse Society collection by Technique Tuesday. So, without further ado, please keep on reading below ↓

To begin with, I started by treating a Strathmore Bristol Smooth card panel with lots of Embossing Powder Tool because, I was going to stamp the floral cluster from the Royal Jasmine Stamp with Embossing Ink. Right after the stamping, I white heat embossing the stamped image with Opaque Bright White Embossing Powder and soon after the stamping, I water colored the heat embossed image with my Genuine Crafts Watercolor Brush Pens in Green hues for the stem and leaves and, a very light Gray for the flowers. Lastly, after I was done water coloring, I added a touch of yellow to the anthers from each of the flowers and I stamped and gold heat embossed a sentiment from the stamp set to the lower right side of the card as you can see in the picture above.. To finish the card off, I trimmed the edges of the card panel slight smaller than an A2 size card and, I adhered the backing of the card panel to a top folding white card base with foam mounting tape.

For the second card, I completely treated another Strathmore Bristol Smooth with lots of and, lots of Embossing Powder Tool because, for this example I was planning to stamp with Embossing Ink and white heat embossing the floral cluster from the Royal Jasmine Stamp repeatedly to create my very own background. Right after the stamping and heat embossing step, I water colored the flowers, stems and leaves in the same way as I did in the previous example keeping that way a coordinated color combination in both cards. So, right after the water coloring, I trimmed the edges of the card panel slightly smaller than the card base as usual and I gold heat embossed a sentiment from the stamp set in the center of the card panel. By the way I used; Metallic Gold Rich Embossing Powder to gold heat emboss the sentiments on today’s cards. Lastly, I adhered the backing of the card panel to an A2 top folding white card base with foam mounting and I called both cards done. Well slightly done as… I decided to add Glossy Accent to each of the anthers from the flowers and I adhered some Clear Droplets here and there for a shiny/sparkly look!
