Happy Wednesday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you this glimmering “Masculine” birthday inspiration card made using, Sweet Blooms Hot Foil Plate and Sweet Blooms Stencil Set from the latest JUNE-2021 Release by Pinkfresh Studio along with this amazing set, I used PFS- Inks to add a none-traditional pop of color to the hot foiling stamped leaves and blooms. Besides using this pretty set, I used as well Happy Birthday Sentiments Stamp Set and Happy Birthday Sentiments Die Set for the card sentiment. Essentials: Pretty Frames Die Set for the delicate frame plus, Metallic Pearls: Silver to add an extra touch of shine. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it ↓
Therefore, as usual I started off by quickly following the foiling process steps from my Glimmer Hot Foil System Platform and Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine so, I could get the foil stamping process done using Sweet Blooms Hot Foil Plate, an A2 size Hammermill Cardstock 80 lb - 100 Bright card panel + a piece of Glimmer Hot Foil Roll - Polished Brass.
Thus, as soon as I had finished the hot foil stamping process, I went ahead to place down the hot foil stamped card panel over my Make Art - Stay-tion - 7 Inch to get the layering stencil steps started. So, for the layering stencil process, I used Sweet Blooms Stencil Set which, happens to be its coordinating stencil set. Having that said, along with the stencil set, I used as well Sky Blue Ink, Slumber Ink, Sapphire Ink and Misty Coast Ink to color the leaves and blooms in.
Moving on, as soon as I had finished color the leaves and blooms in, I went ahead to trim off the card panel a bit smaller than the card base using my Comfort Paper Trimmer and then, I quickly rounded its 4 corners using a corner puncher. Next, I’d got the backing of it adhered with craft foam adhesive over an A2 size top folding white card base to raise a bit of dimension between them.
Right after that I’ve had mounted the card panel over the card base, I went ahead to mount over it with skinny pieces of craft foam and double-sided adhesive the detailed white frame which, I’ve had previously die-cut out of white cardstock using Essentials: Pretty Frames Die Set.
Last but not least, to compliment the gold from the foil stamping I decided to mount over the card a combination of sentiments which, I had previously stamped, heat embossing and die-cut out of white cardstock using Happy Birthday Sentiments Stamp Set and Happy Birthday Sentiments Die Set.
Finally, to finish the card off, I went ahead to glue down here and there using Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue some of the Metallic Pearls: Silver to add a contrast of shine between gold and silver. With that being said friends, I hope that you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this glimmering “Masculine” birthday inspiration card.
