SSS Send Happiness Release┃Chunky Happy Craft Die Inspiration Card
Hello, Friends! It’s Simon Says Stamp - Send Happiness release day YAY!!! So, today I’m sharing with you this “Happy Birthday” card made using the just released; Simon Says Stamp + CZ Designs Chunky Happy Craft Die. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step by step on how I made it↓
To begin with, I started by smooshing over a Strathmore Smooth Bristol Paper; Marigold Ink, Coral Reef Ink and water using a large piece of acetate. So, once I’ve got the coverage that I wanted, I waited for the card panel to dry, and once it was completely dry I went ahead to line up the Mesh Stencil, and then right after that I added Ranger Texture Clear Paste.
Therefore, after I added the textured paste, I removed the stencil and I added Glass Slipper SPARKLES Glitter to add a sparkly textured touch. Moving on, after I had added the glitter, I set the card panel to dry and I went ahead to create the die-cutting.
For the die-cutting, I ran through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine the just released Chunky Happy Craft Die to get the Shadow layer die-cut it out of Translucent Vellum and its Outline layer out of 1X Gold cardstock and 4X out of White cardstock. Moving along, after I’ve gotten the die-cutting done, I stacked the white and gold die-cutting pieces, and I mounted the dimensional HAPPY over its translucent shadow layer. Then, to complement the big happy die-cutting, I went ahead to get a the super happy birthday sentiment white heat emboss over black cardstock, and to add even more birthday feeling, I also went ahead to get the balloons gold heat emboss over translucent vellum.
NOTE: For the super birthday sentiment I used Stop Drop Party Stamp Set, and Birthday Numbers Stamp Set and Birthday Numbers Die Set for the balloons.
Finally, to finish the card off, I trimmed the edges down from the textured and sparkly card panel a bit smaller than the card base, and I adhered the backing of it to an A2 top folding white card base. Then, I mounted with square dimensional adhesives the big Happy and the sub-sentiment, and last but not least I glued down with liquid glue (as shown in the images above) the gold heat embossed balloons. Then, to add even more shine, I glued down with liquid glue here and there some Crystal Confetti, and I covered the white letters with Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Pen and I added Glossy Accent for an extra touch of shine! With that said, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the step by step on how I’ve created this “Happy Birthday” card made using the just released; Simon Says Stamp + CZ Designs Chunky Happy Craft Die.
